Would it be possible to have one of my characters already captured and put out of commission for part of the plot by the NPCs? To elaborate:
Jotaro is exactly the kind of combative and rebellious-natured person that would be deemed unacceptable by Pleasantville standards. Would it be possible to have him imprisoned/taken out of commission/etc from the start of the plot (on account of having been too combative to properly suppress, or something along those lines), and then have his friends remember and rescue him later once they start remembering things?
(Basically I'm hoping to shelve him somewhere for the beginning of the plot and then DM a rescue scenario for people who'd like to go rescue him once things get into the later stages; would that be okay and/or feasible?)
