FIVE YEARS LATER...

HOW TO PLAY:

Nothing truly stagnates in Ruby City, but what if it did? What if things stayed consistent--or, well, as consistent as the usual chaos of day-to-day life--for five years? Time is weird, but surely your characters are a bit different: whether in physical appearance or emotional status. Go wild. Take the time to think about what five years of isolation could do to your character, five years of separation from the outside world. Are they tougher? Weaker? Do they still have hope of leaving?
HOW TO PLAY:
01. Post a toplevel and get creative. This is a meme, after all! Have fun imagining CR possibilities and character devleopment! Really, go wild.
02. Reply to other people's toplevels, build off of what they have laid out.
03. Profit?
dio!!!
- around 5'8" in height, tall and lanky and cranky
- he's grown his hair out so it's almost midback in length. he usually keeps it pinned up in a bun or a high ponytail
- enjoys birds, has one, her name is duchess
- can speak italian more fluently
- goes by the name inizio moreso than dio
- still a god damn nerd who appreciates education and SCHOOL
- a few nights out of the week he likes to sleep up in the observatory to study the stars. duchess comes with him.
- he isn't afraid of the woods anymore
- his time stop has gotten longer but it seems to be capped at five seconds and he isn't that interested in trying to push it any further than that
- more often now he has his stand, the world, out with him. he is currently trying to teach his stand how to play chess with him.

They've gotten closer, but there are things Inizio can't do with him. They've long since learned that seeing the World will only lead to grief; they know that certain phrases will send Polnareff reeling. But those are the bad days-- and as more and more time passes, the bad days become far less frequent.
He's become quite good at fencing. Very good, actually, to the point where Polnareff has stopped fudging their competitions. He loses more than he wins, but it's only a matter of time before that changes, god knows. But it's early autumn, and the leaves are crisp, and it's no time to be indoors. So, instead: football. Soccer, as the Americans call it, and he'd had to correct some people on that the first time he'd brought the subject up on the network. Football, and Jotaro had found him a ball some years ago, and he's always ready to play.]
I can't believe you know rugby, but not football. Who likes rugby over football?
[He says it with a distracted air. He's too preoccupied with bouncing the ball off his knees, seeing how long he can keep it midair.]

As he watches Polnareff bouncing the soccer ball on his knee Dio walks over and just. Knocks it away before it hits Polnareff's knee again.]
So show me how to play - unless that was it, in which case I don't want to learn anymore.
