[Island Event]

Hello folks!

It's come to our attention that some of you are concerned that this sudden shift in setting is going to be a permanent thing. Never fear - this is simply a rather dramatic event. Feel free to point angry fingers at any lack of foresight on our part for not warning you about it beforehand.

Surprises are fun, right?

Ruby City is gone, replaced with a veritable island paradise. This is only temporary, and this event will run for one week, from Friday, July 20th to Friday, July 27th. As ever, you are not obligated to participate, but as this is a city-wide event, the city is no longer available to be posted in until the event is over.

To help you find your way around the island, there is a temporary locations post.

We hope that you will be able to use this event to develop some new CR, create new plots for your characters, and just have fun! Please address any questions that you have to this post and we will answer them as soon as we can :)

Question! I have an English Camp to help out with this week; I'm going to be internet-free from Monday morning (everyone else's Sunday night...) and planned to stick Kaoru in the catacombs for the duration. I'll be back Wednesday evening (Japanese time) - is it okay to have him wash up on the beach when he gets back?

In short, what's happening with hiatusese/hiati during this period :)

You can certainly do that, or you can handwave him having been there the whole time. :) Whichever is most comfortable for you.

So are the characters' posessions pretty much gone except for the clothes on their back?

Pretty much! Unless they happened to be hanging on to something especially tightly.

Are all characters supposed to be washed up at the beach or can they wake up at different locations as well?

They can wake at different locations, within reason. :) Use your best judgement.

So what happens to pets?

Also, when the city comes back will it wipe the slate clean or will possessions (brought in + accumulated) be restored as well? Or is that something we don't get to know yet?
