CR / Handwaving Meme!

Time for another of these! You all know what to do by now, and we all love some good CR, don't we? You can either ask for/offer CR you'd like to play out... Or you can discuss what may or may not already have happened!

INSTRUCTIONS

♥ Post with your characters, one per comment or a catch-all. If you have any CR in particular you'd like to rally, mention it here!

♣ Go around to other characters and discuss ways your characters may have interacted in handwaved settings. This could be casual meetings at the pub, patrols they may have gone on together, hikes and explorations, or just whatever strikes your fancy!

♦ Come up with some backstory for friendships that might not have gotten played out as fully as you'd have liked. These guys are trapped on a floating island together, 24/7... You know they bump into each other!

Helen and Arthur already have quite a bit of CR. But I think she probably still gives him the occasional cooking lesson. Maybe not as often with her current confused feelings toward him. I don't think that would change her desire to see/talk to him on a fairly regular basis, though.

Also, she's told him about John which is something she very, very rarely discusses in depth. So I imagine she's probably also shared more with him about Ashley. Though where her feelings on either are concerned, she probably tries not to let those show, even if it is inevitable. She would have tried to stray from anything too deep. For instance, she's probably only given vague details about Ashley's death. The same for John's abuse. Though, those might come eventually. But I think it'd be more fun to actually thread that conversation out, anyway. I think she has probably told him a lot about James and her friendship with him. I doubt she's shared much about his death, either, though. She probably avoids talk of Henry. And maybe mentions Nikola less often. She misses them.

He's her closest friend, which she has already told him. So I'm comfortable with saying he gets to see a softer side of her. He might get a few more glimpses of her vulnerability than most.

Marius. They are still working on that alternative to human blood, yes? So she's maybe told him a little more about her work and vampires from her world. I doubt she's outright said she's nearly 300 years old. She's very curious about him, so I'm certain she's spent more time trying to get him to talk than talking herself.

I'm not sure how you want that to resolve itself, but we can discuss it. And that might be best eventually logged out anyway. I'm willing to say she at least tried to devise something using her own blood as a base. That, of course, would mean it's only helpful as long as she's still around, though. And I'm not sure how well he'd like that.

The other three...Ideas? I think she'd definitely like to meet Leonardo. Enoch she's talked to briefly, and she thought he was sweet. But if you have ideas for something more detailed than that, throw them at me?

I will go away and be quiet now that I've written you an essay.

I have nooo objections at all to threading out anything you want to do regarding Arthur and Marius~ He's not terribly secretive about what he is as you know, so he'll tell her anything if she expresses curiosity. Well, pretty much anything. He's a bit more guarded about his personal history, particularly from before he met Augustine.

I'm going to post with Leonardo soon - I'd love for them to meet!

It's something nice and normal which she does appreciate on occasion. I think they're probably one of her favorite rituals.

I would, at some point, like for something to happen regarding her mess of emotions toward Arthur. Probably something on her end. Because she has no one to worry about being faithful toward. I'd just really, really love to see the fallout. But she's currently doing a fairly decent job with the denial.

Also, I think she is going to venture into the forest, possibly go all the way into the mountains. She's looking for a fight and time for herself and her thoughts. And I'm thinking she will probably send Arthur a text assuring him she is fine and not to worry if she's gone a while.

As for Marius, well, she's really most interested in what he is, anyway. And other things associated with that. She'll want to better understand the differences and similarities between vampires in his world and vampires in her own. I'd like to thread something with finding an alternative that works/testing it. Simply because I'd like to see how well they might interact working together.
