RC Test Drive!

I don't really have a fitting picture for this.
G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Adelaide → Hanna is Not a Boy's Name
[You know who likes high places at night? Vampires. You know who is chilling on a tree branch now that the sun is down and sipping a bloody mary that seems suspiciously more bloody than mary? This vampire who wouldn't object to some company.]
im doing it im doing the thing
This guy.
You might recognize him.]
0 v 0 the thing has been done
She soundlessly leaps down from her tree, moving quickly and quietly through the grass until she's behind him. She lays her hand on his shoulder, her lips practically touching his ear.]
Well hello, Mister Cross.

He practically pirouettes away from her, spinning around to face the distantly (and nowhere near pleasantly) familiar voice. When he squints up at her, he relaxes, crossing his arms briefly before he brings a finger to his chin.]
Don't I... know you from somewhere? [Blink.]
no subject
You don't remember me? I'm hurt. You were so helpful in getting me back to normal.

I guess they'll let anyone in here these days, huh.
[ The sentence drips with sarcasm as Casimiro shifts his eyes to the branch, unsure if he should be amused or not at Adelaide's presence. ]

It's been a while. You know, since you had me trapped as a bat and I had to live with the wimp.

[ Knowing Adelaide's duplicity all too well, he's not the least bit worried about her disposition. In fact, he even shoots a carefree smirk her way as he shoves his hands into his pockets. ]
I figured the tacky, trying-too-hard art style was just the right fit for you.

I would have liked it better without the work-from-home-hipster cluttering it up.

[ He laughs a bit, shamelessly. It's not even a fake laugh, he just gets amused when he thinks of the whole clusterfuck. ]
Never took you for the type who likes glasses, if I may say so myself.
hope you don't mind a little voice testing! ovo
[Lamont's voice comes from the road at the edge of the park, not very far the tree where Adelaide is perched, as he produces a half-crushed pack of cigarettes and a lighter from his back pants pocket. It's a dirty habit and he knows it -- then again, what habits picked up from Worth could possibly be clean? -- but his paranoia is flaring something nasty, and he needs to take the edge off the sense of vulnerability that came with being involuntarily plucked from the world he knew and thrown into some place he knew nothing of -- a place with no business connections, no safe houses, no security. He needs to get some information soon; but for now, he just needs a smoke.]
o3o not at all
Those things'll kill you, you know.
[Hello, sweetie. ♥]

A-Adelaide?!
[As he catches his breath, his eyes are wide with disbelief, a light blush creeping onto his cheeks. It's then that he remembers that he still has the cigarette in his hand, and he, in a already failed attempt to maybe try and hide it from her, drops it to the ground and surreptitiously squashes it under his shoe. He then bashfully returns his attention to her.]
What are you doing here?
[Confusion and embarrassment everywhere. ♥]

The same thing you are, Mr. Touchey. [With nimble fingers she plucks the half-crushed pack of cigarettes and lighter from his back pocket. It's been a few decades since she's had one of these- she figures she's long overdue. She selects a cigarette from the pack and brings it to her lips, lighting the end and taking a long drag before finishing her sentence.]
Enjoying the fresh night air.
[He is so cute when he's embarrassed tho. ♥]

Guess you don't have to worry about those being your second death.
[As she takes a second smoke on the cigarette, he reaches up to brush a stray bit of her hair behind her shoulder, just wanting to see her face. He's certainly missed her as well, even if he tries to play it off by extending the same hand for the items she pilfered from his pocket.]
So, this is where you disappeared to? Can't say I've found the appeal.
