[Wow he has never moved so fast and that's saying something. Dirk almost drops his watch in his haste and he looks around furtively to make sure no one saw that fumbling display before he turns the feed on.

Instantly there's a squirming kind of uncertainty in his stomach. God, please let her be from a point in time at least close to his so this doesn't have to be horrendously awkward.]

[Confused Jane is confused! She'd had no idea that this thing was a sort of communicator. Popping it open completely, she glances into it and appears somewhat relieved.]

Oh! Dirk, thank goodness you're...wait. You weren't with me just a bit ago, Jake was.

[... So far so good? He swallows and one corner of his mouth twitches in an uneasy smile.]

Well that's a pretty good question, actually. My head still hurts...but I'm not actually hurt.

I'm guessing this is what a hangover feels like. I'd go as far as to say it's a sugar crash, but it feels so much worse...it's no wonder Roxy would drink so much if this follows.

[Frowny face. Alien candy hangovers, yuck.]

So where are we? I imagine this isn't some weird side of Prospit I'm unfamiliar with.
