Event -- Age up/down!

That's right, it's time for another event!

During Monday, March 11th, some the residents will start to feel a little strange. It won't be something they can put their fingers on, but at the stroke of midnight things will become clear. This prelude is completely optional even for those who will be affected by the rest of the event, but when the clock chimes, everyone who is opting in will face an age change.

From Tuesday, March 12th, there will be some new faces around the city - or, at least, they might look new, until you take a closer look. Some people are going to get younger, some will be older, and there'll no doubt be confusion all 'round!

You can be as creative as you like with how much you age your character up or down, and whether or not their mental state follows along with it. If you are ageing up, and wish your character to have been trapped in Ruby City for the number of years that you're adding on, that's absolutely fine, but please keep the mechanics of the city in mind if you are going to fabricate memories for them to fill that time period.

This event will run until the clock chimes midnight on the night of Friday, March 15, but feel free to backtag into the event if you miss it, or don't get to do everything that you might have wanted to.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: The consequences of any actions taken during this event are very real! When the residents return to their original ages at the event's end, they will also remember everything that they did while they were altered. If they do something stupid, they won't just be able to shrug it off and pretend they don't remember!

Anita is getting aged down to eighteen, which means that not only will she be extremely anti-monster again ("the only good vampire is a dead one" and "better dead than furry" being her mottos), but she hasn't had any combat training yet. Also more embarrassed about her zombie shenanigans than she currently is.

Emma will be unaffected and just kind of staring at everyone in disbelief.

Severus will be aged down to about fifteen, as awkward and bitter as ever.

Thor is going to be eleven or so again, which means he'll be lacking a lot of the compassion he has now and be a much more abrasive and narcissistic creature than most of his friends here know him to be. ~~But he still loves Loki, okay.~~

Celty will be aged down to young human child age, like 8-10.

Haven't decided if her mental state will change yet.

Her helmet will likely go missing for the duration.

Definitely aging down here, since Lukas's future isn't too bright. So have fun with a somewhat shy, wee Red demon on your hands.

Loki will remain unaffected, but children are his weakness, so please take advantage of this.

This little troll boy's gonna be a tiny little bugger who's looking for his 'rail some o the time, trying to make magic and pretend to be a wizard and act like a snobby lil violet blood.

Dimitri: Aged down to about six years of age. He'll have black wavy hair, no scars, and no powers to speak of. My headcanon for him is that his powers developed just before his 9th birthday, so he'll be pretty helpless in that regard. Memories will be intact, but I can guarantee he will be incredibly out of sorts.

Rosalind: Aged down mentally to her World War 2 years. Not a happy point in her life, and it'll reflect in how she treats people. It'll be like she's arrived in the city for the first time again, and she will be extremely bitter about it.

Japan: Will be aged back to his first years opening up to other countries. He will be incredibly shy and most likely very timid about about talking to people whenever he needs to leave the house. Memories about the city, however, will be intact.

Death: Will be aged back to just after his granddaughter Susan is born. He will be in the mindset of a happy and excited grandfather, insomuch as someone like Death could fill such a roll. His memories about the city will be gone.

Seras is going to be aged down into bitter-babby-orphan Seras so like... age 9/10??? so she might be a little bit of a ruffian... Buuuut if anyone still wants to play with her, that's totally up for grabs.

Envy doesn't have an... age...????? Sooooo he will be generally unaffected.

Graham is getting aged down a little, not to kiddie level but definitely to "before someone ripped his heart out and he got sent to another world" so think maybe something like Huntsman in his late teens/early twenties. He won't remember his identity as the sheriff for the duration of this event.

Some shenanigans planned with Regina that I'm suspecting will take place more towards the end of the thing but in any case if you want anything with this masterpiece of a man just let me know ^^

I will be aging down Rumpelstiltskin to before the Ogre wars. Yes. Yes I am doing that.

As for Mike and Castiel, no ideas as of yet but suggestions are accepted!!

Sirius Black is probably getting aged down quite a bit, depending on what PB I find.

If I find any, that is. The search continues! But depending on the PBs age, he might be from before Hogwarts, so only just with the vaguest notion of rebelling against his heritage.

Whatever the case, he'll be a chore to babysit.

Okay so I have so many different ideas for this and I'm not sure what to pick!

James will be aged right down. To a very bitty, very bratty, six to eight years old. Unless you other cast members want him to know you then I'll stick him at eleven.

Henry and Bae are the ones that confuse me. I'm tempted to age up Bae to Neal but with memories of being in Ruby City all that time. If I did that, I'd probably have to age down Henry depending if he knew about Neal from the canon point he's coming back from after my hiatus ~~lol what hiatus~~.

The other option is aging up Henry to his twenties and doing the opposite to Bae, or just leaving him as is.

Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Derek here is going to only be aged down like. Four-six years ~~GIVE US HIS CANON AGE ALREADY~~ to about the time before the Hale fire happened (approx. 16 or so). He'll still be an Alpha werewolf so it's gonna be interesting, and I might have him remember things that happened over the years between then and now on a certain level just for the extra layer of manpain. Either way he'll actually be happy to help kidsit because what is being the son of the pack alpha in a large family with kids.

Surprise, grumpy sourwolf Derek Hale is rly good with kids.

Leah will be aged up to her years in the future but how many self, Hela Queen of the Dead. Later we will all have to wonder WHY THIS IS SO Hela why are you here because Hela won't be telling and when Leah reverts to being herself she won't remember all the things that Hela knows (because that's like thousands of years of Asgard history + her own origin), only that she was Hela for awhile and did some things. COOL? Cool.

Gabriel is going to revert back to his days when he was an actual functioning Archangel. Delivering messages, speaking a tad more formally, acting a tad less abrasive than usual and going full-on guardian and personal badass when it comes to little kids.

Tinker Bell is going to jump way, way ahead in her timeline to post-Disney Fairies and right into the one we know from Peter Pan. She is going to be sassier, vainer, and more easily irritated than I usually play her. Expect her to latch onto one of the male characters and become jealous if any other female characters try to get in her way. (I have a few ideas for who might be good for that, but not sure exactly who yet. If you'd like one of your guys to be her surrogate Peter, let me know!)

Claudia is prrrrobably going to suggest that everyone adult wrangle up all these newfound children and work together together to look after them, probably by congregating in a single building such as the library or clinic and taking shifts! I might also put up a log for this, for mingling, so if you don't have a good excuse to interact with some character or another while they are an adorable (or horrible) child, well, here's your chance.

So as adorable as a bitty!sherly would be, I'm actually going to age him up. He's going to be coming in from a terrible AU universe where all sorts of bad things happened and he'll be far more bitter and cynical. He'll also be coming back with a bit of a cocaine habit |D

I'll be doing a write up of exactly how the timeline is different once I iron it out but does anyone want to do anything specific with him?

Dipper is being aged up to 18. He's spent the last five years in Ruby City under the Strilalonde's roof and being trained, so he'll be complete with a shitty sword and Strider shades. He's still interested in monsters and the like, he's just more grown up and responsible about it (that doesn't mean that he doesn't go monster hunting in the mountains every now and then).

Jack is going to be aged up another three or four hundred centuries to Father Frost age. He's a bit of a grumpy grouch, but he's still mischievous and has been in Ruby City all that time. Baby Tooth will not be aging.

I am totally aging her down.

Because you know, bitty rocks and Jane is already old enough.

Jane will be 10 years old, two years after she discovered how awesome stars were and still totally obsessed with them (and trying to figure out Hawking's theories and that). She won't remember anything from her older self, from arriving here to meeting Thor to what high school was like. Being a kid, she'll be active, running around and generally being a curious pest. She'll ask questions, climb trees, ask more questions, and have mercy if you don't answer her.

Elena is the most mature Turk ever and has aged up to 40. Which would mean that she's been trapped in the city for over just shy of 20 years. Due to her long duration of time in the city, she's become almost automatonic in her day to day routine. Trying to survive in the city, as well as ensuring the safety of the residents, are her only priorities. ~~Its the least she can do~~

She still does have a soft spot for the bitties!

Iceland is going to be aged down. ~~You know, to yesterday.~~ It will be at that great time where he depends on Norway for everything after Iceland has to give into Norwegian rule. Good times. He's probably not useful for, like, manual labour nor is he a talker. But who cares?
