TEST-DRIVE MEME

Maybe you've considered appping a new character but you're not sure how well they would adjust to the in-game scenario? Well, here's a chance to give it a try!

• Post with a character journal you'd like to voicetest or you've considered apping to Ruby City. Feel free to play them as newcomers or as if they've been here for a while - the setting is your own choice.

•Respond to other threads with new characters or with characters who are already in the game.

• Explore different interactions, find castmates, develop possible CR - anything you want, as long as you have fun!

[ Graham has a habit of frequenting the woods himself, since he lives there and all, and is actually aware of the fact that there's been a young woman venturing out into it regularly as of late since Wolf would never let it go unnoticed that someone new is spending time in their 'territory', and what Wolf knows, Graham knows.

He hasn't wanted to disturb her, but at this point he feels like it might be best if they had a little talk since her movements have taken her steadily closer towards where he lives and he doesn't want her and Wolf to end up having a misunderstanding.

So he's come to find her. She's good at hiding her tracks, but he is just the tiniest bit better at finding them again and so manages to catch up to her when she decides to take a bit of a rest.

He makes his approach easy to hear, and comes into view with his hands held out where they are easily visible. Best be careful when dealing with an armed teenager.

Hello there.

[She stood up as soon as she could hear that someone was approaching. The steps sounded human, but in these woods, one never quite knew - only because it sounded two-legged does not mean it's human, and so she had her bow ready just in case.

Seeing that he apparently was indeed a normal man (as far as she could tell), she lowered her bow, though she did not put the arrow back into the quiver. Better safe than sorry. He was not carrying any visible weaponry, from what she could tell, and altogether did not give her the impression of someone who was about to randomly go on a killing spree.

Good signs.]

Hey.

[All of this does leave the question what he was doing here. Could he possibly have followed her? No, she had made sure of that.

Unless he could read her tracks - she had been careful, but not nearly as careful as she could have been, but then again, people who could actually work with tracks seemed to be a rarity here.]

Do you want something?

[ Seems like he has a charmer on his hands here. Well, he can relate to that, not like he was always a people person, to say the least.

He doesn't let her prickly suspicion bother him, and instead just gives her a friendly smile and opts for being direct.

Yes, actually. You've sort of been making your way closer and closer to my back yard so I figured I'd ought to let you know since there's a Wolf hanging around there and I don't want you to shoot him.

[Short and to the point, she can work with that. Until she realizes that he is more worried about someone shooting a wolf than the wolf attacking a person.]

Is it your wolf?
