So, hi, new member etc. post going up, I'm Meg, and the new cast member is Waver Velvet of Fate/zero. His canon point is actually taking apart the Holy Grail, so he's had time to grow into a slightly snarkier mage, and get used to being a professor as well as playing politics.

Also, er, as a question to the other Fate/ folks here, I do want to clear what level of knowledge Waver might have on your character, since he's set twenty years post /zero canon and I don't imagine he would have taken apart the Grail without doing serious research and I don't want to overstep bounds. Thanks!

I've always imagined that Berserker was the big question mark in research, as there's only really Waver's knowledge and whatever record keeping Tokiomi had going on. (Accessed via Rin, becaus Tohsaka-Velvet bromance is my reason for existing.) So, when it came time to do any sort of research into the grail wars to figure out what the heck even broke the grail, these were the only two sources. It was always a tossup between "did the Matou have Caster or Berserker this round?" and nothing was ever really confirmed. So, Waver would have about zero knowledge of Kayria existing and roll in the war.

This all sounds about right to me! (And yes good, I approve of Tohsaka-Velvet bromances.) And now I just sit here and cover my face as I think about how Kariya's eventual canon update just keeps getting worse, oh lawd.
