[Rose immediately recognizes the face and her eyebrows shoot up in ill-contained surprise. As if encountering her dead mother wasn't enough, here is her very own alternate universe self, mother to Roxy instead of the other way around; and she's done more than enough research to know exactly who this woman is and what she's accomplished.

Though her future has been too uncertain to do much planning as of late, Rose had entertained many fantasies over the years of growing up to become exactly what this alternate Rose is: a lovely, elegant, capable, badass famous authoress. It's like her dream future self just stepped into reality and validated all of her once-upon-a-time aspirations.]
