She picks up the watch and, without any sign of emotion, flicks on the video function.]

Nowhere near as interesting as leading an organization dedicated to the eradication of the supernatural, but at the very least, it gave her something to do.]

While these posters are a helpful introduction, there are still questions that bear asking. Though I suppose that if there were a definite "how" or "why" or "how long" that had been discovered, they'd be readily posted as well?

She had thought she was done with the whole "being forced to leave one's residence and plunged into an unfamiliar, probably antagonistic setting without clearly defined rules and precious little idea what's going on" thing. Most especially the "little idea what's going on" part, with the advent of her Seer powers.]

Now she'd found herself waking up at last, on some unknown train. And getting forcefully boarded off of it. What in God's name...

It takes her a while, being from an era before cellphones or anything useful like that, but she eventually figures out the watch enough to make a broadcast. Hello, Ruby City, meet Strange Woman In A Maternity Dress.]

Where did that blasted train take me...? Oh, blast this, has anyone seen a useless little boy in the body of a long-haired man? Answers to Aristeo Regis. I require his audience immediately. I... just find him.

[It isn't that the voice is unfamiliar or that it takes him long to place it. It doesn't. He hears it regularly in his dreams and more often yet in his nightmares.

That only makes it worse.

He spends quite a while staring at the watch as if it were something vile and traitorous - which it has become - and then spends some more time trying to remember how to make his hands obey him.

By the time he manages an answer, his voice is still dull, shellshocked, but there are the first stirrings of rage awakening in his heart. This is cruel.]

[ The door is opened in a most unconventional way: blasted off its hinges with a spell, the empty space is left with smoke and, soon the figure of a woman with raven dark hair and heavily lidded eyes. ]

[ But there is no answer yet again and as the woman steps off the train, she regards her surroundings with nothing short of scorn. Bellatrix Lestrange has never been quite the injured animal type but even when her defences are low, she excels at masking uneasiness with something a little more menacing. Trains, she knows them all too well - seven years of constant trips from home, to Hogwarts, and back, could say a thing or another. Yet she much prefers apparition these days.

She takes a few steps, wand tightly held in her hand and ready to cast a disarming spell (or something just a little worse) at any suspicious onlookers. The station seems to be empty, but that does not ease her any more and she only stops to regard one of the posters identifying this strange location.

It is decidedly outside her area of knowledge and that is a very worrying thing. She was about to...

Completely unaware of the pocket watch that has been recording her voice all along, she steps towards the gates and the city itself. One ought to tread carefully near her; Bellatrix does not take lightly to mockery or threats. ]

[Hardly any other voice could draw such an immediate reaction from Narcissa. Now, this is something she has both anticipated and, perhaps, almost feared - this is no place for the war.

Especially not for Bellatrix' role in it, and least of all for the vigor with which her eldest sister enforced every last bit of it.

Though, one would be lying if one claimed that she has not carefully prepared herself for that day. And one would live in denial if one hasn't considered that even the best laid plans could fail her in this situation.

She appears at the station with the soft plopping sound that indicates apparation. Blond hair down, wand at her side - and hoping that the other woman would recognize her before attacking.]

[Her first thought is to reprimand her sister's ... improper behavior, as it would call unnecessary attention to her, but this might not be the best moment for such a thing.]

[ She misses a step, nearly tumbles her way onto to the platform but is still quick to regain her balance and poise. The contraption that brought her here is strange not at all like anything she has ever seen but then again, neither is this new location.

It takes several moments, first for her to step around in a sort of daze until she finally stops and deciphers the meaning of the posters. It takes another moment to figure out that the pocket watch is in fact a communicator and even then, Lorelei only manages to make it work with hesitation.

There is her voice, and there is her face - big eyes stare into the watch with befuddlement. Could it be that anyone will really see her? ]

I'm lost.

[ Stating the obvious, yes, but she isn't one for too many words. ]

The hands are gone, the water is gone and he, clothes still soaking wet and dripping the cursed lake's vile water, is laying on the floor of the train's compartment. Not that he is aware of his changed surroundings as he gasps for air and shakes and gasps some more and finally curls up into a shivering ball as he tries to block out the certain death that should have been.

The awareness that he isn't dead sinks in slowly and leaves him a sceptic.

He is just contemplating what the metaphor of trains says about the afterlife when the train stops and the doors open to reveal an abandoned railway station.

Regulus stumbles outside, quite glad to be free of confined, cave-like spaces, and sinks to his knees on the platform. He is unaware when his fingers find the watch during his search for his wand and activate it.]

Bloody hell... [He is shaken by another fit of coughing. Turns out being dead is far less romantic than it's made out to be. Funny, that's something it has in common with dying a hero's death.] What happened to the white light at the end of the tunnel?

[There's no finesse of him getting off the train - he lingered too long and the train helped him out, stumbling and tripping over his own damn feet as he goes.

The watch flies open and the video feed clicks on as the teenager picks himself up with a groan. A mess of dark hair over tightly shut eyes, a white and red cane clutched in a hand. There's a visor laying near the watch as well as he gets to his feet. Feeling his face, he taps, trying to find his visor.]

What the fuck?! Where the hell am I now?! I swear, if this is your idea of a joke Kitty, I will hit you upside the head! I don't care if you're a girl or not! And who the hell took my visor?! You little shits, when I can see so help me god...

[Sometimes, the people that get off the train make even this guy want to back up a step. Sometimes there's just such an instant feeling of uncertainty verging on wariness that he's not sure what to make of the stranger standing in front of him.

Well, he certainly doesn't look like someone who came out of a horror game, that's for sure (or so you want to believe). Yet, he seems focused on trying to learn the basics of this new place he got himself stuck in. Again. Let's all agree one can't have an easy life and simply enjoy an art gallery without being thrown into this world of paintings with life, moving statues and creepy dolls.

PSA: Don't get play with dolls. They seem fun, but don't ever trust them for the sake of your sanity.

Moving on, this young man sighs after realizing many of his questions keep unanswered. However he doesn't look disheartening yet, as he finally takes off the watch out of his pocket and tries to see how it works, smiling at the sight of understanding he finally connected to someone.]

Ah, I hope I'm not interrupting you from anything, but I would really look forward to some kind of information regarding the place I got myself in. I arrived in this train just a few minutes ago. Oh, and pardon my indelicacy. My name is Garry.

[ Apart from the Batter, it was oddly curious to meet other people. The world he lived in, if it could even be called a world, the concept of that plane of existence was nothing but a conceptual metaphor, which Zacharie thought he was bound to, not that it annoyed him or anything, was filled with entities he thought were a universal constant. Never once did he think he would find himself outside the cycle. Garry in particular catches his attention, and of course, after some deliberation, the masked individual approaches him. ]

What little of the back of his head that can be seen shows that his hair is clue cut, a carefully kept pirate hat on his head. And he's wearing a long cloak. One that looks as though it has veins flowing through it.]

[He hopped off the train, nearly stumbling and falling face first on the floor. A broad chested man, of average height, black messy long hair falling over his face and shoulders, had just arrived in town.]

[He stands up straight, looking around with furrowed brows before glacing down at the floor and around himself.]

Where's me hat. Ah, there ya are.

[He grumbled, husky voice, picking up a violet, velvet captain hat and brushing the dirty off it, before placing it on his head.]

Uh, hm. I suppose 'am lost. How did I even get here. Where's me rum? Argh, goddamit.

[ She's only been here for a couple of days and that alone seems a little too much. Most of her time has been spent wandering around the station, trying to catch sight of that large contraption they call a "train".

Pillars be blessed; she made use of one as a makeshift hiding place as the train arrived and someone stumbled off it and now, peeking at the newcomer, she can easily relate to the state of confusion.
She doesn't budge from her spot, but at least tries to make her presence known. ]

That thing. [ The train, she means, pointing at it. Her voice is quiet and it's not as much shyness as it is something else. As if she hasn't spoken that much in a long time. ] It brought everyone here.

[While one could be found with luck over being thrown into this far from luxurious place, someone else could call it a misfortune. And for someone as Hajime, it was difficult to get over the kind of situation he got himself into this time. What kind of plan did that bear have? How was even he able to get there? He was sure it was impossible to find engines in the island, so how did he even get in a train in the first place? If this could be called a motive for another murder, he sure as hell doesn't seem to understand the meaning. Instead, he's actually waiting for some kind of announcement, while confusion and actual distress and worry for his fellow classmates begin to be noticed. Not anyone in particular, just all of them, even the ones he isn't close to.

And what option does he have if not follow the instructions in the posters and try to communicate with someone? God, maybe he can actually have the luck to find someone useful there. Maybe he's actually out of the island? Maybe he was actually rescued somehow? But then why can't he remember anything...?

Too many questions and no answers. So better check that watch and see what kind of encounter will he find. Although maybe it was a good idea to get rid of that grumpy face of his first. And so, a deep breath and with determination, the male student finally turns on the video, completely failing at trying to make a smile. A w k w a r d.]

Hmm... Hey! Mind telling me what is the deal of this Ruby City? I just... arrived in the train but I don't know why or even who brought me here... So, if you could be of any help, do you mind giving me some information...?

Instead of answering, he puts his watch back in his pocket, making his way towards the train station, where he had arrived just a few days before.

At the station, he easily spots him. There's nobody else there anyway but who'd not see the tsun tsun ahoge from afar.]

[His tone is cheerful, as he shows up behind the other male. What were the chances to find Hajime Hinata there? Ah.. good luck.

He opens his arms, almost as if expecting a hug or any sort of physical contact.]

[There's someone skulking about the theatre, inspecting every inch of it. He goes through the wings, the greenroom, below the stage, anywhere he can manage. And when he can't manage because of a locked door, he simply vanishes and moves through it in spirit form. But really, it's easy to forgive Shakespeare for snooping around in a theatre...right?

Eventually he stands downstage right, looking out at the seating.]

Hmm, a thrust would lend far more possibilities...

B) The park
[So maybe such a long cape isn't so great for fighting strange wolves, especially as one seems to be tearing it up in its attempt to attack Caster. Meanwhile, he has a fencing rapier in hand, and is by no means doing a bad job fighting off another. The real frustration here is having to constantly swat the one at his cape. He really does not look worried so much as disappointed for this loss.]

Option B. Hi there you!

[Waver had been lurking the outskirts of the park in hopes of observing some of the local monsters without having to get into a fight. Had, being the key word. With seeing a few wolves going after someone, that hope had been dashed.

Not that Waver hadn't stopped to pack up his notebook first. After he shoves the notebook into the bag he has with him, he takes out a container of water, opens it, and fires two very quick splashes of water at the wolves in question from a distance.

His circuits prickle with power, and it feels like the most natural thing in the world.]
