[So it might have been a while, but he recognizes that voice anywhere. He's last seen her in Azkaban and it doesn't take much more than her grating voice to remind him of that.

This isn't who he had been waiting for, who he'll always be waiting for, not the one he wants to have his revenge on so badly. But it's still Bellatrix and Azkaban itself was almost still too good for her.

He doesn't waste time, but apparates right away, wand in hand and aiming a disarming spell as soon as he can.

[ When you stand for too long in silence, you start paying attention to every little thing surrounding you - the way the breeze taps against slightly torn posters and the paper scrapes against the pillars, a cricket or two in the distance, all those little things. And Bellatrix, predator by excellence, would be hard-pressed to miss this arrival in such a familiar manner. To her, these are war times and the slightest mistake could mean her death.

Her advantage resides on one of the pillars which she contours with particular ease. But that alone is more a matter of fortune and doesn't give her the upper hand and when she casts her own disarming spell, it's just a little too sloppy, a little too easy to miss.

She would chastise herself, but when Bella catches a glimpse of her attacker, she outright cackles. ]
