[...this isn't the room.
This isn't home, either.

He steps out of the train and stops. In a stoic silence, he looks around.
...empty.
Or they're hiding.

He had just cleaned up. Was a little break so much to ask for?

With a long, quiet sigh, he rests his bat on his shoulder. Time to go back to work.]

( OOC: I need to ask for permission for character death here. Batter has some...slightly violent tendencies under some circumstances, so that might happen. If you want to write it off completely, that also works.]

[The dragon squire is walking through the city, holding a crude stick-like device with a large disc at the bottom. It's beeping quite loudly. He stops, waves the disc over his armor - it's beeping grows quiet]

Huh? that's funny, my metal detector rod is really going off, but it's not reacting to metal at all!

The poor thing

[ You're in for a bad day, Flicker.
The Batter steps into the streets, finding a new area he has never seen before. It's too different from those of his birthplace.
It goes to show that there's still a lot to be done before he's finished.

The strange creature gathers his attention. As a man of few words, he simply stares.]

[ Ah, but of course. Zacharie knew that, wherever it was that he could have been, the Batter would follow soon after, and quite effectively... ]

C'est une bonne journée, n'est-ce pas?

[ He chuckles under his breath. ]

( ooc: character death is fine if it comes down to it. )

[ She appears behind him, but with no intent to cause fright. She's about as bitter as she was when they last met, with the added bonus of realising that he cannot, will not yield.

But she doesn't want to fight.
All she wants, is to find Hugo. ]

( Oh that's mean.)

[ For a couple of seconds, he doesn't seem to react. He's pretty sure he took care of things before. Why is she here now?
He turns his head, just slightly, to glance over his shoulder.]

You're persistent.

[reinedesmouches]

[ The light doesn't quite reach her figure, mostly obscured by the pillars to the side. She is unmoving, simply looks in his direction. Looking for a sign? An opening? Anything. ]

It is a trait we share.

[ For the better, or the worse. ]

But I am not here for you.

There is nothing else for you to do here.
