♔ The Man With The Key Is King
So I guess this is a sort of plot with me kind of post dealio that I'm about to make. But with a more Doctor Doom calling all villains and minions sort of twist to it.
So we've all seen how the good guys are going about setting up a police force, a monster hunting force, all very clever. But where does that leave your fellow bad guy? More specifically your friendly Napoleon of Crime? Wherever there is good there has to be bad, right? So, I figure if the heroes of Ruby City are going to band together, the villains should too. Now of course, I'm not suggesting some large scale attack on everyone blah blah justice league fails clown kills millions sort of thing, no, not Jim's style and let's save the mods from dealing with that.
If you don't know who James Moriarty is, I'll learn you a thing. He is a criminal mastermind that spends his life coming up with untraceable crimes that other people go through with for a price of course.
"James Moriarty isn't a man at all. He's a spider. A spider at the center of a web. A criminal web with a thousand threads and he knows precisely how each and every single one of them dances."
It would be more a clandestine deal, as most of his business is. Jim is looking for more business partners per se. Something to balance out against this overwhelming heroic force in the city. Because really what's the point of heroes if there aren't people that need saving?
So basically, calling all bad guys for Jim to get his hands on. If you want Jim contacting your character in some way this is where we can plot that out, or if you want, feel free to plurk me ( Susrien @ Plurk ). I'm also always for ideas of what they all can get their bad selves up to to put those darn goodie goodies in their place. (Mind: Everything must comply with the rules.)
As for how in the world would Jim be able to find out my character is evil/not very nice/a crazy satan worshipping demon/whatever; in BBC Sherlock James Moriarty shows the ability to read people, know their weaknesses, how to make them crack, and so forth. Spotting a fellow sociopath/mean dude/whatever wouldn't be hard for him.
Right, so plotting goes here! Or Plurk!

That said. If there was an economy and therefore a way to pay him, he would consider assassinating people for money if he felt like it was enough of a challenge to his skills. Edward has a low threshhold for boredom, which is a dangerous thing, so as long as Moriarty could keep him interested he could be roped into bad-guying, or at least remain neutral and silent about any ongoing villainy.
That said. Moriarty is probably calculating enough to figure out that keeping Edward interested and amused will keep him from exposing any schemes; but threats and blackmail will immediately turn him murderous in a very focused and determined way. He cares about Anita, but anyone threatening her won't buy his co-operation.

Her skills include thievery, conning and persuading people to do things for her. She wouldn't kill someone unless they were actively threatening her so hiring Bela to 'hit' someone would be pointless. But she's a professional and in her own words, she gets paid to do a job and she does it.
I think she could be used to keep an eye on the 'good guys' and perhaps leak information. Bela is good at playing different roles.

The problem is, he would still take some coaxing, but I'd be very up for Jim noticing that something is off about him and doing something with that, if you'd like.
