[MEME] Let's Talk RC (CR Testdrive)

I don't really have a fitting picture for this.
G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by James Potter and Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclimate weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

And hello to you too, priest.
[ The initial reply has a noticeably impudent note in it, like he finds Kirei's rudeness amusing. He grins up at him. ] Do ya' really need to ask?
no subject
Now he's going to sit down across from Avenger, keeping up his streak of bad manners. It's true, he doesn't really need to ask, does he? Not when he feels this way. His heart is all but pounding in his chest.]
No.
But how is that possible?
no subject
Then Avenger, sensing an incoming conversation, sighed to himself about what a shame it was that he rather liked Kirei, poor manners and all, and set down the half-eaten hamburger to the side for the moment. He shrugged. Convenient bullshit was his guess. ]
Hm? ... As long as I have a vessel to serve as an exterior shell, I don't really need the Grail to exist.
Don't have a clue how I ended up on that damn train though.
no subject
At Avenger's answer, Kirei smiles. He looks quite pleased as he gazes across the table at him.]
I wasn't aware that you could manifest this way. I've been waiting to see you. You remember me?
[There's so much he could ask, but he hardly knows where to begin.]
None of us know how we're brought here. It hardly matters. We'll be sent back and no time will have passed.
[Kirei hardly cares about being sent home now. It will happen eventually, but there are plenty of things to amuse him.]
In the meantime, there are entertainments here.
no subject
It's not that hard, though generally I don't have a reason or opportunity to. [ Unless a wish is involved, self-awareness is difficult to come by. He rests his elbows on the table and resists the urge to be mean by answering that question in the negative. ] Yeah, I do.
[ Contain your excitement for a little while, Kirei. ]
Huh, that's rather... convenient. Or annoying. Maybe both.
[ It still doesn't make sense to Avenger since it shouldn't be possible to feasibly bring back this body with the same copied intellect again. But he figured there wasn't much cause to quibble over the details. He looks amused. ]
Been keeping yourself busy, have you?
no subject
Senpai noticed him! He keeps smiling. He nods.]
They can bring even gods and angels here. [So why not all the evils of the world?]
Here there are no consequences to actions. Things that happen here in no way affect what happens elsewhere. People can be killed, but they will return, to die again. The potential for suffering is practically limitless. [It's refreshing to be able to speak openly. He enjoys being known, understood, when what he wants most is to understand himself. He keeps his gaze fixed on Avenger, fascinated.]
I have done my best to create amusements for myself, yes.
no subject
But you're one of his favorite humans, too.
His facial expression is idly thoughtful for a moment, dull yellow eyes looking across the table at him. THe half-eaten burger he'd set to the side has started to go cold. ]
They're pretty nondiscriminatory then, hmm? [ Avenger had never met any angels or gods before. Do angels bleed when you stab them? Is this city a good chance to find out? ]
It sounds like a farce. Your description is that of a closed garden, isn't it? It's severed from the outside reality, or at least apart from it. That's weird. Hah, yet it does have the opportunities you mentioned. Neat! [ Avenger feels no need to judge. It was neither his place to pass judgement on the living nor did he have any inclination to see him as a bad human. The priest was simply a crooked person. He knew how Kirei worked and what motivated him. Easy, peezie. ]
Good for you! Say, did you cut your hair recently?
[ He definitively remembers the Mullet. ]
no subject
There seems to be no way of telling who they will bring here, or why. We come from various worlds and timelines.
A farce. You could call it that. It's a game, or a joke--a temporary way station inserted in the middle of our lives without meaning or sense. Why not enjoy it, if we can?
There are always opportunities where people can suffer and die. They can become so much more than they are. [He's just going to assume he and Avenger are of the same mind, where that's concerned.] So much better. I'd like to see that. I think one could create a vision here, something worthwhile.
My hair? [Surprised by the question, Kirei puts a hand to his hair.] It's been this way for some time.
[Ever since he was a kid, actually.]
no subject
Well, if it's like that, I gotta agree. Have fun with what you've got and all that. Nothing's stopping you from trying anyway. [Many things could be accomplished as long as there is life, even a mere semblance of it after all.
welp humanity and its people are kinda worthless to Avenger's eyes. But he's happy to make them suffer either way, so he's encouraging in some way to the man. ] If you'd like it, I'd say go right for it.
I remember it being longer. [ He laughed at Kirei's surprise at the question. ] ... Oh. Must be the different timelines thing!
[ It narrowed down which timeline this priest was from at least. Short hair, instead of that awful hairdo but no denial of his true desires? Sometime after the Fourth Grail war, he guessed. ]
no subject
I mean to. [And he's pleased by the encouragement.] What do you intend to do here? [He's interested in Avenger, in what he might want, much more than he is interested in most other people. Avenger is something apart, something more. Could he teach Kirei something about himself?]
I see. Do we meet again then? [He's hopeful, at that. People have told him that he doesn't succeed in his goals. He doesn't really care for that.]
