G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.

Directions:

2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?


3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!


4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: Run by James Potter and Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.


2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.


3. Inclimate weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

[ She is a tolerable presence, so she isn't told to get lost. ]

Mm-mn. Kinda sickeningly homey, if we're being honest, but yeah. Good call.

[ The atmosphere of the scene the two of them made had a dissonant air to it, indeed. Angra takes another bite from his hamburger, munches on it silently and then swallows, not paying any real attention to the actual taste of the burger sliding down his throat. ]

Sickeningly, hm? I think it's kind of cute. [But she thinks a lot of things about this place are cute, in the most condescending way possible. She sets her chin in her hands as she watches him swallow.] It's as good a way as any to pass time here, anyway.

[She doesn't need to eat or drink anymore, but sometimes it entertains her to play human anyway.]

Weird taste in cuteness. [ He muttered without any heat before yawning a bit and taking another chunk out of his half-eaten burger. He sounds very mature and reasonable, only not when; ] Eh, not like there's anything else to do. So booored.

[ There are only three reason Avenger ever bothers with consumption of nutrition; 1.) spite 2.) Food occasionally tastes good and restores energy and 3.) spite. His own little way of telling those villagers to fuck off "up yours, you didn't get the better of me." ]

[She laughs at his complaint, lightly and innocently. She thinks that's cute, too, and not in the patronizing way this time.]

I appreciate the daily grind of everyday life, but man, this is tedious. Excitement would be welcome. [ He nodded, musingly. And considering he already finished that portrait and he can kill humans anytime he please anyway... '-' wow, personal desires; ] Mmm. What question to spring on someone like that. Give me a moment here?

[ Transcend time and space with a camera to take a lifetime supply of pictures of Bazett's breasts, maybe? ]

[She's willing enough to give him that requested moment, though, staying quiet as he thinks.]

Fair point. [ If he could do anything he wanted to right now... He tries, but he keeps hitting what could be called a blockage, his own mental limitations; Avenger is kinda bad and/or rusty at this. His imagination isn't very creative, and this sounds a lot like a wish so he becomes stuck there since he doesn't have a wish of his own.

And saying 'I'd murder every human around here" sounds... boring. Because that's more or less a given.

He taps his chin and then he chuckles. ] I think I would settle for buying some fancy alcohol and seeing if I can get drunk. Or somethin' like that. And you? What would you do?

Ah, really? That's surprisingly modest! [But she doesn't sound remotely disappointed by that reply.] Well, there's alcohol inside, so it's not like there's much stopping you from doing that now.

Mm, that's a tough question. I don't really have the tools for what I would like to do here. [Meaning that, yeah, she would throw everyone into the Grail and see if she couldn't get the Beast properly raised, but that's kind of a given for her, too.] I guess I'll just have to make do with what I have been up to.

[Which basically amounts to bored trolling, but whatever. She doesn't mind much.]
