I don't really have a fitting picture for this.

G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.

Directions:

• Post with your character with their name and canon on top!

Locations:

1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.


2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?


3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!


4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: Run by James Potter and Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

Scenarios

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.


2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.


3. Inclimate weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?


4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

[Following alongside, not talking for a moment.]

[And after a while, they've arrived at the place.]

I can sense no magical fortifications. Do you really think that this building should hold some significance?

[fiddles]

Indeed. It looks like the tallest building, does it not?

[penisenvy]

That is true.

[She hesitates a second, then steps to the side.]

You first.

[fiddles]

Of course.

[She knows the danger of going first, of course, but she can't let that show. If anything it will force the knight to show their true intentions. So while she is showing her back, it is completely guarded. So she steps forward.]

[penisenvy]

[Mordred does not strike. Even if she is called the Knight of Treachery, it would give her no advantage to strike down this other Saber now. Not when there are more important matters.]

[Instead, she just follows Nero into the tower.]

[fiddles]

[Time to try to climb this tower.]

This should be the way up.

[penisenvy]

It looks too unguarded. I do not like it.

[fiddles]

If it is a trap then whoever set it will have quite a fight on their hands.

[penisenvy]

Let's find out.

[She takes a step forward. Nothing happens.]

[Another step, still nothing.]

[And now she's quickly ascending the stairs.]

[fiddles]

[What was Saber doing? Nero follows.]

[She stops at the top of the stairs and turns around.]

...No defenses whatsoever.

[fiddles]

This is rather plain.

[Tch. Whoever planned this building had no taste of the true beauty of architecture.]

[penisenvy]

It is functional.

[Mordred has less of a desire for "beauty" than the other Saber has.]

[She steps off the stair case, into the floor proper, and walks to a window.]

Functional for overlooking the city, that is.

[fiddles]

Yes...we can see almost everything from here.

[She follows.]

Strange. I don't see anything that would indicate magical workings.

Then it seems this place would only serve as an observation tower. Nothing more. The enemy's base is clearly elsewhere.

[And now she feels irritated that the other Saber had insisted they come here.]

[fiddles]

They would be fools if they made their base here, would they not? That this is only for observation is not a terrible discovery.

[Nero is rather satisfied with the development.]

After all, high ground is most advantageous, is it not?

[penisenvy]

Are you suggesting we make this place into our base?

[fiddles]

No. I am merely noting that we are in a defendable position should there be enemies waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs. If this is hostile territory we should be prepared.

[penisenvy]

I would rather not think of defense at this moment. After all, my agreement with you is just to find and destroy the one who keeps us here.

[fiddles]

Very well.

[penisenvy]

[She turns to head down the stairs.]

[fiddles]
