G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

Shockingly, you're right. You certainly aren't my type. [Now, whether he means the 'lovely' comment, or the type to summon him is left up to you to discern. However, he will smirk just slightly suggestively to throw you off.]

[Still, she braced, even skittering backwards. Nightmares weren't something Sucre was comfortable facing, regardless of whether or not they were actually her own. Those truffles dangle in the most threatening way possible which is to say not threatening at all, just tiny sugary bear-heads on strings, and she actually gasps when he opens his mouth.]

[She sinks to her knees, closing her eyes.]

[yup. totally not normal kid looking for his sister. not scary at all.]

[She covers her eyes all the same, even giggling. They're in public; the fact that Zacharie would change his masks here - even for her - was still a big deal.

She peeks from behind her hands with a wink and a half-smile, and when she's sure he has the proper mask in place, she slips her hand into his.]

[ As Koujaku's figure becomes apparent, Noiz just stares for a couple moments. That's the same as he recalls, but he's not about to disclose that information just yet. His entire business is dealing in information, and he's long since learned that if there's no need to share it, it needs not be revealed. He turns to Beni for a moment, his expression still as bored and indifferent as ever, before looking back to Koujaku. ]

... why should I tell you?

[ The answer is blunt and concise, as is to be expected of Noiz, but he just stands there and stares at Koujaku, hands in his pockets, with his expression never once changing. ]

[On one of the benches is Meg, settled into a cross legged position, she'd come here earlier for Crowley, but he seemed to know better than to stick around, so instead she's watching all the amusing reactions as people exit the train.]

[Smile drops his hands, although his grin stays the same. he speaks and with the truffles somehow coming off as a threat, the distortion in his voice is worse.]

[It's pure chance that had Victoria happening by when Kate steps off the train, and when she realizes she recognizes the woman, she actually smiles.

Of course, once Kate's discovered that Victoria's gone the way of the canines, her happiness might pass, but hey, family's family. At least, sometimes. And in this place where nothing is familiar, family definitely wins.]

[She smiles.] Seems death ends in this place. How do you feel?

[Scott happens to reside close to the tracks, so when the sound of a train screeching to a halt catches his enhanced hearing, he is quick to check out what just disembarked. He might be slightly hopeful that Allison is coming back. However, what steps off the train is absolutely not what he wants to see. Ever. Come on, aren't you dead.]

Kate? [He chokes out before his brain actually kicks in and tells him he really should keep his mouth shut and just walk away. But no. There's that brain of his acting a little slower than his mouth.]

[Kate wasn't aware of any face she made other than just confused. Either way, she had zero time for complete strangers that decide to start off with ridiculous commentary.

[The man who steps off the train wears a familiar face, easily visible as he fiddles with the watch, the weight of which was unfamiliar in his pocket. The man whom man will know as an angel, friend, ally, brother even, lacks any of his usual clothes, sporting a blue sweater and grey pants, in addition to his look of utter confusion.

It differs noticeably from his usual look of not understanding in that it looks less like he's doing some critical thinking with a vast mind, and more like he's utterly and completely lost.

Almost like a normal person, not an angel.]

Hello? Is anyone... I'm afraid I don't know where I am or... how I got here. Is anyone there?

[ And oh boy, words can't even express how the man can hardly keep his cool with this kid. His indifferent face, his arrogance, his way of talking... Koujaku grits his teeth in annoyance. ]

Don't try to act like a smartass. [ He averts his eyes out of him to notice Beni arriving and landing on his shoulder. He immediately picks him and sets him on sleep mode. It would be better to hear what Beni has to say when Noiz is not close to them.

That's when he realizes something and a curve grows from the corner of his lips.] Unless you don't know anything about what is going on.
