RC Test Drive!
I don't really have a fitting picture for this.
G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

[She's going to have to ask someone who knows these things.] They even let you go inside. There are chairs and everything, and rooms, and a biiig altar.
Or at least, it looked like an altar last time I saw it.

Have you really been inside, Mystic Maya? What does everyone do in there?
[ in her head, she's imagining some kind of huge channelling lesson, or maybe even a public channelling or some kind. ]

[She puts her hands on her hips, feigning offence.]
But... it was because I guess... I got a little hurt, and there was someone there who helped me. I've never been in there when there were more people in it.
[...She doesn't seem too fond of the memory, but quickly brightens up. She really has no clue-- she'd mentioned it looked like a stage to Nick, but he quickly shot that one down.] Let's go inside and find out!

[ and what she was about to say is broken off by a loud shriek as she dissolves into helpless giggles, squirming at the tickling. ]
M-Mystic Maya--! That - this isn't fair!!!

[Sweeping Pearl up, she covers the younger medium's hair and head in silly, sloppy kisses, her fingers still prodding at Pearl's sides.]

[She gives Pearl a playful squeeze, giggling before finally stopping the tickles.]
Alright, alright. [She doesn't put her down, but supports her with her hip.]

[ her protest dissolves into helpless giggles, and when Maya finally leaves off, she keeps laughing for a few moments, trying to catch her breath (and her composure) and only being slightly successful. ]
Of - of course - I'll come and look! [ still catching her breath, she brushes a strand of hair out of her face, a stray giggle escaping her. ] I want to see what such a big shrine looks like from inside!

Good. I've gotta have you near to beat up anybody I don't like if they show up. [She winks at Pearl, walking her to the door before setting her down.]

[ she takes Maya's hand once she's set down, although she's privately taking Maya's comment about beating up anyone she doesn't like very seriously. ]

Maya leads Pearl in, looking around the Cathedral in a bit of awe herself. THis is only about the third time she's seen the inside-- the second time made her very much not want to come back, after all.]
It's huge, isn't it, Pearly?

[ she cranes her neck, leaving go of Maya's hand temporarily so that she can spin around and get a good look from all angles. ]
Oh, Mystic Maya, look! [ she points at one of the stained glass windows, the light streaming through it to illuminate the picture. ] The windows have pictures in them! I couldn't see that from the outside!

I... don't really know who all those pictures are of, though. I wonder if Nick knows anything about them?
[And how they're made! She didn't know you could put so many pieces of coloured glass together that way.]
