G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

{ train station }

[ Cora is used to being on her own. She learned a lot from it. She grew stronger because of it. Her older brother had been snatched from her as quickly as she'd found him again. But she was used to loss; it was one reason that being alone became so easy- There's less to lose.

So the fact that she's the only one on this train wasn't disconcerting. The problem is that she does not remember ever getting on a train. Let alone does she even know where it's going.

When the train squeaks to a halt gently, the doors open and Cora carefully gets off. She takes one last look over the train as she walks out onto the platform. A glance at a poster only gives her the name "Ruby City," but little else. ]

[Making camp on one of the benches furthest from the train seems to have been a good idea, seeing as Isaac can keep his eyes peeled for anybody important to the pack. Gosh, he's just hoping Jackson or Peter doesn't step off that damn thing because he will #nope out of there so hard. So when the pretty brunette girl, who seems somewhat familiar in looks steps off the train, he can't help but watch her curiously. Is it considered creepy to watch people that have just been kidnapped? ... Yeah probably, so instead of taking after his Alpha he speaks up.]

You've been kidnapped, and they're not letting you go... It's kinda like a really dumb movie... But real life.

Isaac. [ Oh good. ] Come on, don't be cute.

[ Giving him a hard stare. Of course she knew that was as good asking the weather to change, but she'd never been here before and it unnerved her. ]

Where are we? Really.

[Oh. The pretty brunette girl knows his name.

Uh. We're in Ruby City... We've both been kidnapped....? [Why does he sound like he's asking her... oh wait because -] How do you know my name?

[ Raising one of her dark eyebrows and throwing him a disbelieving look. ]

One of Derek's betas; of course I know your name. Are you trying to say you don't remember me?

His brows knit together, because he isn't trying to say that, that is exactly what he is saying. Girl, you cannot scare him he is a virgin this is no drunk party one night stand not remembering you in the morning dealio. He's pretty sure he'd remember you if he ever saw you.]

Uh, is there, a reason I shouldn't be saying that?

Look, hasn't enough happened lately? And with this- [ Motioning toward the train station. ] On top of it?

[ Okay, originally she'd kind of liked the poofy-haired werewolf. But this is a really bad time to pull a joke, dude. It's getting on her nerves.

She sighs and walks past him, pushing him with her shoulder as she passes by. ]

If you're going to play dumb I'll find someone else to help me.

[He makes a small "oof" noise when she shoulder checks him, but instead of letting her leave him behind he all but scurries after her.]

Okay, uh, well... This place is magical, right? [Do not reference a bad Syfy movie, do not pull a Stiles, this is a pretty brunette girl.] Or something. [Aw, yeah, nailed it.] That train, it brings everyone here, but then you can't get back on it. So, you just kind of, have to make this place your new home.

[Wait, he should probably ask.]

You're uh, new to the pack, right? You're a wolf. So Derek bit you? I've never seen you at school, I'd remember, I mean, not because - I mean you seem familiar.

[Once he starts rambling there is no off button, Cora.]

So... You, er, your name?

[ She stops and regards him again, rolling her eyes. ]

I seem familiar.

[ Letting that sit for a moment. And processing everything he'd told her. Not that she's inclined to believe all of it considering the act he's pulling. Her mouth tightens, but when he still just looks at her expectantly, she finally relents. ]

Cora. Cora Hale. Ring any bells?

[ Before he starts rambling again. My god and she thought Derek's freckly kid was bad. ]

[His face seems to drop at that, mouth falling open slightly as he manages to utter out the next word.]

Hale?

[Like.... Derek... Hale?]

You're his sister?

[Let him get his bearings. How does Derek have a hot sister? Is Derek hot?... The teenager visibly cringes at the thought, nope, can't ask yourself questions like that. He stares at her in awe some more.]

I'm telling the truth. Why would I lie about this? I'd come up with something better.

[He grins and it's half smug, half friendly.]

Yeah. One of his sisters.

[ That hurt a little. ]

I have no idea why you're lying. Like I have a clue what goes through your mind.

[ If she did she'd probably hit him again to be honest. ]

[Hey, he's complimenting her in his mind, shush...]

So... you're a werewolf. I mean, that makes sense, he is too.

[His hands move to pick at the seams inside his pockets as he tries to put this all together.]

I thought... I thought all his family was uh... Nevermind. He's here, I bet he'd want to see you?

[ Well, there's a familiar face.

Stiles is hanging around the train station today, scribbling a little extra information on the posters hanging around--WATCH OUT FOR MONSTERS IN THE FOREST--when he spots a familiar face. That's...Cora, Derek's sister.

Derek's sister is actually here.

Jaw dropping open, he'll just be over here, staring at Cora. Oh shit. What's he supposed to do. Derek's going to absolutely flip his shit, considering he only really knows she's alive because Stiles told him, and Stiles kind of doubted he believed him, to be honest, and what is he supposed to say, he's barely exchanged two words with the girl, and--maybe he should actually say something. ]
