RC Test Drive!

I don't really have a fitting picture for this.
G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Leah Clearwater / Twilight
[Don't mind her, she's here for the beer.
A moment after giving her order, she snaps out of her slouch and snaps her fingers.]
No, wait... Make that a whiskey. Double, on the rocks.
[Leah sends the barkeeper, waiter, whatever this person is her best menacing glare as a tip.
Too young to be drinking in some states? Maybe. Certainly too young to be turned into a goddamn werewolf by the presence of sparkly vampires, kill your father, watch your boyfriend turn into a love-struck zombie and as cherry on top, get hauled away to some third-rate sorry excuse for a Star Trek convention meets haunted village spiel. She ran into a chick with grey body paint and horns earlier, for God's sake.
Girl needs a drink.
She props her elbows on her cozy little table in the darkest, most remote corner of the bar and rubs her pounding temples.]
What a day...

Without being asked, she slides in across from Leah.] and what's made your day so terrible, madamoiselle?
no subject
But... That headache.
Leah raises her head just far enough to shoot the girl a dark glare.]
Aren't you a bit too young to be the local shrink?
no subject
I only recognize the look on your face.
no subject
[The waiter is finally back with her whiskey and Leah downright snatches the glass from his hand, grudgingly grinding out a thanks. If this is the company this place provides she will be driven to stronger stuff than whiskey.]
no subject
You, however, seem as if you need to burden someone. Tell me. I swear I won't tell a soul.
no subject
I don't pour out my heart to strangers.
no subject
[She pauses and looks over the woman.] I'm Éponine Thénardier. There, you know my name. We are not so much strangers now!
no subject
She'd had female friends, before the wolfiness and the need for secrecy. Onwards it had been nothing but her own pain, boys who would scorn her for voicing it and the girl who had stolen her happiness trying to play at being best friends. As if she wanted Emily's pity.
It's the thought of Emily's hurt if she knew that Leah would rather play nice with a stranger than her that has Leah smiling toothily.
She knocks back her drink.]
Leah Clearwater. It's been a while since I've had a heart-to-heart. I have plenty of bitterness, just ask my... friends. [The smile turns downright wolfish.] You'd better run along. I earned my reputation as a harpy fair and square.

[There is the shortest, most whimsical thought of gleefully telling her that Leah is the real wolf here, but shies away from the idea before Sam's Alpha command to tell no one has a chance to flare up and force submission.]
That's funny. I would have taken you more for a... fox, maybe. Something small, quick and sharp-toothed.

The Elvenking gives little thought to the sight of the young woman in the bar. He never judged one by appearance alone and he knew there were those among his own kin that allowed their children to drink wine. So long as it had been mixed with water. In fact, he'd done the same with his own son.]
I will see your wines.
[He tells the bartender this in a plain tone but it's easy to tell that he's expecting quick compliance. The king doesn't look to her but his next words are clearly directed at Leah.]
Would one be correct in assuming that you are new to this city?
no subject
She can't help wrinkling her nose in disdain, determined not to let herself be swayed by the gorgeous face. Vampires are beautiful too and they hide nothing but decay and evil beneath the pretty surface.]
Yes, I'm new. What's it to you? [Dare she...? Why, yes, she does.] Did anyone tell you yet that Halloween is over?
no subject
[He keeps an eye on the meager selection of wines offered and chooses one, pouring it into a glass himself before turning to look at Leah. One brow goes up, the comment completely lost on him.]
They have not. [Most likely because they had either been a bit intimidated by the sight of the elf. And he had no idea what Halloween was anyway.]
no subject
Leah eyes the bottle of wine he has served himself from, then decides against it. No, she'd rather stick to stronger stuff, especially if she has to deal with someone pretending to be some pointy-eared... something.]
What are you anyway? A Vulcan? An elf?
so I kind of had to try out how this would be, do pardon me xD
Alistair is in the stallion to get a drink too, though obviously not the untouched beer standing in front of him, and his stink should be familiar enough to alert her to there bing a vamp in the bar even if she might not remember his individual brand of 'ew'. He wasn't at the Cullen residence for very long after all, and spent most of that time muttering up in the attic. ]
Oh no, not you.
[ Downside to having an absolutely perfect memory? You can't forget annoying people no matter how much you'd like to. ]
You are evil and wonderful and I love you (but Leah hates you right now, sorry.)
Downside to being in this bar at this time and place? She is about to.
Leah inhales deeply, intending to let out a melodramatic heavy sigh, but the moment a well-known scent assaults her senses she nearly chokes on air. Air turned vile, rotten, tainted by the predator staining everything with its undead presence.
Just like that, all the sullen broodiness disappears and Leah snaps to attention, eyes tracking the other patrons, ears alert. It isn't difficult at all to pick up on the exasperated mutter, but she could have pinpointed him in any crowd. A wolf in sheep's clothing is still a wolf, she would know it best. The red eyes are a giveaway, too.
Red...]
Fuck...
[Her skin suddenly feels too small for her body and there is a panicked moment in which she could bet it's going to happen right here and now. No, she can't. Not quite yet. Soon, but not yet, not in here with all these innocents around.
She bares her teeth at the leech and whispers, knowing he would hear it as well as if she were shouting into his ear.]
Yes, me. [She raises her chin in a stubborn gesture of defiance, never mind that she is alone and still new to this werewolf thing and this is the first time she would be glad to have the pack around... He will smell her fear and pick up on her racing heartbeat but she won't give the leech more reasons to gloat than she has to.] Did I ruin your appetite, leech?
You have only yourself to blame for being so much fun to play with
[ Though the disgusted curl of his upper lip does imply that he's not feeling so much like having a snack any longer, at least not as long as the air is thick with the revolting smell of shapeshifter.
His voice is pitched low as well, with a slight scrape to it, as if he hasn't used it for a while. ]
*blushing forever*
Go to hell.
[She leaps up from her chair and all but runs for the entrance. She has to get out of here before she transforms amongst innocents and there's someone else running around with Emily's face... If they are lucky.]
no subject
He doesn't do well with being trapped, not at all, and since he had precious little sanity left to begin with Ruby City is doing him no favors in that area whatsoever. ]
I am in Hell.
no subject
The leech has beat her there.
Always bigger, better, faster, goddamn evil creatures with their marble skin and superpowers like something out of a Marvel comic and no imprinting to rule their lives...
Then her body is shifting and twisting in all kinds of unnatural ways, her clothes are bursting apart as the wolf's shape forces its way out.
Yes, she is in hell, too.]
no subject
What point and purpose is there in continuing his miserable existence and dragging his shattered self through the centuries with no end in sight, his body a walking tomb for the young man who died when the venom burned its way through his body and encased his shattered mind in glittering marble?
He will not run this time. Perhaps her teeth on his skin will make him feel something again. ]
no subject
Brute force might not take a single, lonely shape-shifter far against an experienced vampire, but in her anger-driven mind Leah is determined to try. With the enemy's smell overwhelmingly strong to her wolf nose and no Alpha to restrain her or pack mind to ground her, there is nothing holding back all that unbridled rage.
She leaps straight for the vampire, determined to simply tear him apart where he stands. If he runs? All the better, she may not be the strongest wolf but she is the fastest.]
no subject
Strong hands reach out for the wolf to prevent her jaws from closing around his throat, and he tries to grab her and fling her aside so that perhaps he can get a bit of a head start. Running has suddenly become a much more appealing option once more.
What the hell had he been thinking?
Note to self, in moments of utter idiocy, stay away from giant wolves with the ability to bite through your sparklemarble skin. ]
Run, Alistair, run xD
She smashes back first into a wall with the cracking sound of bones breaking. Leah howls in fury and pain. It takes her a moment to work through the blinding pain and get back onto her paws, just long enough for Alistair to get something of a head start.
Just enough to make it interesting.
The wolf throws back her head and howls, calling for a pack that isn't going to respond. Then she is off, bounding after her prey with surprising agility for a creature as large as her. But she isn't as fast as the fastest wolf of her pack should be, not with something broken, though she can't say exactly what. Her entire back explodes in agony with every step. This is why wolves don't hunt alone, crosses her mind before she shoves the thought away.
It is frustrated fury as much as duty that has her put all her strength into doggedly keeping moving, that has her snarling.]
That's the plan x)
