G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

My name is Miles Edgeworth. I have been here over a year and I'd be glad to help answer your questions. Though I am afraid some of the more pressing ones you must have are yet without answers.

Might I know your name, miss?

[ Her eyes widen briefly -- Miles Edgeworth. Prosecutor... yes, that's where she knows him! He doesn't seem to recognize her, so she brushes it off and her smile widens. ]

A year? Wow, that's a while! Thank you for your help, Mr. Edgeworth. It's nice to meet you, my name is Trucy Wright!

_{[Did he hear that correctly? Wright?... must be a coincidence. Wright wasn't that uncommon of a last name.]}

A pleasure to meet you as well, Miss Wright.

How long have you been here? Has someone...oriented you around the city yet?

_{[He had better start there. It's easy to transition into 'by the way you need housing since you're not going home' bit.]}

[ This must be what her father-- Phoenix was talking about. Different time periods and the such. She's already broken enough brains for one day, so it's best to maybe not drop the 'PHOENIX IS MY DAD' bomb on him yet. ]

Er-- well, not long. A few hours... da-- [ she pauses for a moment -- ] ...Mr. Wright [ That sounds just as awkward to say as it is to even think about, and it probably translates into her voice. ] told me a bit about it, but we got a bit... sidetracked. Hahahahaaaa...

_{[He narrows his eyes suspiciously as she says that name... but lets it go. He can't say anything about that other than she said it oddly and that's... well. Odd. He lets it go.]}

I see. Have you managed to find a place to stay?

_{[He is prepared to offer his guest room to her if she needs it. He's done so for other residents in need.]}

Sidetracked? _{[Since when did Phoenix ever let go of major issues like kidnappings? He was usually like a dog with a bone about that.]}

No, I haven't. I haven't really tried, though... I've been too busy trying to figure out how I even got here, honestly.

[ She grins slightly up at him, trying to think of the best way to put it. ]

...Let's just say that I'm well acquainted with the area that you guys live in. He was just asking me about things at home.

_{[Well that made sense. Sort of. How did she know Wright exactly? Sure he had some big cases but he wasn't an all star attorney that the general public knew.]}

Unfortunately that isn't an answer I can give other than the identities of our captors. They are godlike beings in comparison to us and can summon us here through time and space. We know nothing of their motives or weaknesses.

... And it's late enough, you are welcome to stay in my guest room for the time being if you don't mind a dog.

I see... well, that's unfortunate. If I can find anything else out at some point, I'll definitely let you know! I'm so grateful for what you've told me already, though, I can't thank you enough!

[ So much for that. Four of the books that she's got piled up are unceremoniously closed and she slouches slightly in her seat... well, until he offers her up temporary shelter. ]

Are you sure, Mr. Edgeworth? I don't want to impose. [ But then she's smiling again, pleased. ] I love dogs! I've always wanted one, but we can't really afford it right now.

_{[He nods, smiling warmly. She's such a well mannered girl. How refreshing considering the one he was raised with...]}

_{[He smiles even wider. Oh Pess, his beloved pet. His mental stability hinges on your well being.]}

I am sure Pess would love the company. It's a rather large house, he often gets lonely.

[ She looks relieved, and she smiles back at him, because really he's already helped more than he'll ever know. ]

[ She means it, too. Hopefully, at the very least, she'll be able to help him dig for more things about this city and the beings that have brought them here. She'll definitely return the favor in any way she can, though.

She looks pretty excited now, but who wouldn't? This day is turning out to be better than she thought it would, considering she's been kidnapped, Phoenix has no idea who she is, and the day just kind of started out as a nightmare in general. ]

If you ever need anyone to take him for walks or even to just play with him, I'll do it! What kind of dog is he?

[ She simply smiles again and nods as she begins to pile all of the books up to put away. She can let someone else do it, yeah, but she's used to putting things away, and she may be a little nervous about the entire situation herself. ]

[ She manages to pick the books up, and staggers back to the random aisles she'd picked them up from. A few minutes later she returns, bookless. ]
