RC Test Drive!

I don't really have a fitting picture for this.
G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

Hello, Commander.
haha no, don't apologize, it's everything I could have wanted.
This isn't the time to be emotional.
I'd like nothing better than to bring back information about the Titans that could save the people we've left behind, but as you've said, there are no Titans here, and to all appearances, there's nothing we can learn about them here, not directly. That said, this place has a wealth of knowledge, on so many subjects--things I hadn't so much as imagined before I came here--and there's no way of telling what may be of use to us. It could be the smallest fact, hidden away. We should discount nothing. We should do everything within our power to turn this situation to our advantage.
It is not useless. Our work is never useless. We fight for humanity, no matter where we go. There are dangers here as well, and mysteries to be solved, and there is a city full of innocent people that needs defending.
[He pauses, his sobriety lightening somewhat.]
At ease.

She hears him. She agrees with him. But the one thing on her mind is-- ]
But.... there are still no Titans.... [ She looks and sounds defeated when she is allowed to break a formal stance. At least she offers a counter point: ] You want me to read up as much as I can, without having anything to apply any gained knowledge towards. Information like that-- that's only half as effective.
[ What should she do, build Titan dummies? ]

It's strange, isn't it? To live in a world without them. Even though it's what we've always worked for.
[It's both unnerving and a relief. He knows they're not there, but he can't help but half-expect them to appear, just when they're least expected.]
Yes, that's exactly what I want you to do. If there's anyone who can find something that might relate to the Titans, or be useful against them, and realize how to apply that information, I know it's you.
Half as effective is better than not effective at all.

Actually... I've already found a cross-reference with our Titans and those of the myths provided here. [ She speaks one name, a name that has only become well known in recent light. ] "Ymir".

Ymir.
[That is interesting. That "Titans" were referenced in myths was one thing, but for a particular name to come up? That's more than a little odd.]
What did you find?

To them, Ymir is the original Titan.
[ The three reasons would be: the name Ymir itself, the fact that this Ymir is a Titan, and how these two facts match up with what their Ymir and the mysteries she's presented. Hange, of course, has her theories as to what this means, but she doesn't tend to speak them unless asked. ]

The original. I can see why you'd consider this significant.
[If they could actually a discovery this important, could identify the first Titan, it would be one of the greatest advances the Survey Corps had ever made. Actual information about the origins of the Titans. He's very intrigued, but his expression remains sober, restrained. He'll jump to no conclusions until he's heard everything. It's best to keep an open mind.]
And?
[He prompts her to continue. Knowing Hange as he does, he's sure she has more to say about the topic. It's his job to listen.]

It seems to more than a coincidence, doesn't it? If that's true, then we'll learn even more than just one point.
First, it means that somehow the name name given to 'Ymir' itself is significant. It in turn means that the one who gave her the name must have read or known this myth to begin with. Someone, somewhere, may have a book on these very same myths inside the Walls despite the current ban on them.
To come about the second point, we must take the previous statements as assumptions. We might say that she is the first or original of something.
However, the question is first of what? First Titan is, of course, plausible and goes along with the myth. Yet in my opinion that seems unlikely. The two other theories is first of the humans who may shift into Titans, or-- if one is to take a more radical view point-- the first of the Titans who may shift into humans.
[ After a long moment, she shakes her head. ] Like I have said, this is mostly speculation. Without any evidence or Titans here, we cannot make any certain claims.
