RC Test Drive!



I don't really have a fitting picture for this.

G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.


Directions:

  • Post with your character with their name and canon on top!

  • Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.

  • If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.

  • Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.



Locations:

  1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

  2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

  3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

  4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

  5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

  6. The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

  7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.


Scenarios

  1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

  2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

  3. Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

  4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

[ That's one sound you don't just forget. Not that Aradia is prone to forgetting, but even if she was, this is something she couldn't possibly forget.

She's not even that close to the station when she hears it; but she manages to pick it up. It could almost pass off as her imagination if it weren't for the repetition and though she'd very much like to avoid a fight with this troll, something tells her she doesn't want him to find some of their friends just then. ]

Gamzee?

[ Do you remember her? All red from head to toe with her wings and fairy dust, perched over a nearby pillar. Aradia smiles, of course, but when does she not? ]

[Aradia wasn't one of the trolls he recalls talking to much. She was low on the belt, closer to Karkat. The mutant blooded motherfucker. He stops, turning his head in the direction of the lower troll. Wasn't she dead? Oh well. It doesn't matter. She'll get hers soon enough. She's seen him though, and that was what mattered. He couldn't carry out his master plan when she knows he's right there. A few moments longer of staring, and he just turns and begins to walk away. He doesn't give a shit where he is. If she's here, that must mean the others are too, and that's where he's headed...if he can find them.]

[He stops again and looks up to her out of the corner of her eye. She's an insistent little punchblood. Grimacing some, he looks ahead again. May as well give her what she wants...for now.]

must have been a dream. THE LAST OF THAT THINKPAN RUSTING SHIT. must be getting out of my system.

[ She can help but be startled, moving back a couple of inches - though it's not really in Aradia's nature to get scared and that's not really the case, but the difference in tones of voice is something she hasn't heard in a long, long while. ]

[What a weird thing to ask. Been here before? He's never been here in his life. He doesn't care where he is. He just assumed it was another part of his fucked up hallucinations. He continues to stare, barely even blinking as he grins.]

all of this is a mother fuckin' nightmare. ALL BECAUSE OF THAT MOTHERFUCKIN SLIME. why would i motherfuckin remember this?

[Turning away, he begins to walk again.]

i need to mother fuckin find them AND MOTHER FUCKING KILL THEM.
