RC Test Drive!

I don't really have a fitting picture for this.
G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

My death was the best thing that ever happened to me. And that is what brought me here. So I suppose it is the same.

I don't think life in this place will be so bad... As long as there are no people like Sam and his friends here. [Speak, no werewolves. Or other supernatural creatures. Miserable French girls, on the other hand, are perfectly welcome.] I would rather handle the danger I've been warned off than deal with the people at home.
no subject
I don't know your Sam, so I cannot say for certain. But for your sake, I hope there are not. I have people from home here, which is both good and bad. They only briefly knew of me. Or knew me in passing.

[She pauses, furrowing her brow and looking over at Leah.] Seth?
no subject
Seth is my brother... my little brother. He's just turned 15. He should be worrying about school and girls not about... [She shakes her head sharply.] Never mind. I should be watching out for him. Nobody else will do a proper job. Even though they know his name, at least. What kind of idiots have you been wasting your time on?
no subject
[She swallows thickly.] I did not know them before.

M'sieur Monster would. He said there was nothing he could do to keep him away-- but he did not try hard enough. They tried to keep him away, as I lay dying. But I was told he saw. He should have known better... They all should have. [She swallows. Speaking of Gavroche is hard.] He went to get bullets from the street.
no subject
[Little does she know, of course, that soon enough her pack back home will include werewolves just a year older than Gavroche.]
no subject
[She hangs her head, taking a deep sip of her drink.] He was the only member of my family I truly cared about.
no subject
But boys will be boys, they listen to the wrong people. What was he like?
no subject
Gavroche-- spirited and free. He lived on his own so young, but would come back to visit. My mother never cared for him the way she cared for me and Azelma. But he was kind to everyone, a proper gentleman. Smart as a whip, bright and handsome. Everyone called him Little Gavroche, and he seemed to always be singing-- he died singing, they said. Just like him. [She shakes her head, laughing quietly.] He was a little man, in a child's body. I was proud to have him as a brother. Still am.

[It's rare for Leah to be moved to tears, she was never the kind of girls who cried over sad movies and pain would just make her furious, yet it would take a colder heart than she possesses not to be moved by Eponine's love for her brother.
She stands up, walks around the little table and awkwardly enfolds her new friend in an one-armed hug.] You can be proud of him. Very proud. He was one of a kind.
no subject
She nods, appreciatively.] Merci, Leah. You would have loved him.
no subject
She pulls away and returns to her seat with an awkward chuckle.]
I'm sure I would have loved him. He reminds me of my own little brother. I think they would have been friends. But... isn't there a chance you will see him again in this city? You were dead as well.
no subject
Your brother may join us yet, too.

[What the hell, she darts away for a moment to grab the entire bottle of whiskey. When she returns, she pours them both another glass.]
We should at least get to drink to the deceased. As for my brother, though? I'd rather he stay where he is. He's happy and relatively safe where he is. This is a cage, he doesn't deserve to have more of his life stolen from him.
no subject
No. No they would not.
She grabs the glass of whiskey as though she's dying of thirst.] Then I hope he stays wherever he is, too. A drink to the deceased. [She raises her glass.]
no subject
[Leah raises her glass as well and clinks it with Éponine's.
She takes note of her friend excluding her family from the list of people she wants to see again, yet decides after a moment not to inquire. They've told another a lot for a first meeting, she wouldn't be surprised if it's more than they ever shared with a stranger. Better not to be pushing her luck.]
And let's drink to the living as well. To all those we left behind...
no subject
To the living, then. [She fills up Leah's glass as well.] To your brother, to my Marius, perhaps even your Sam, too.
