Hey, so... Aki-mun wanted me to pass along a message:

"I am currently in the hospital with an ear infection that has caused my left ear to swell shut. I've got an antibiotic IV in me with regular doses of morphine to dull the near mind-searing pain. I have no idea how long I will be here, or if I will have access to internet capabilities while here. As such, I am forced to go on hiatus for a while and will update you guys when I can."

I don't know what the hiatus protocol here is or anything so... I'm just gonna leave this here and hope for the best?

Which Aki-mun are we talkin' about here, sweetie? (The mun for this account?) Once we clear that up, consider the hiatus in place, with well wishes, of course!

Yeah, I'm a buddy of his, watching his email for him while he's in the hospital. Last I talked to him, he was comfortable enough, once he gets his morphine shots, but other than that, it's kinda bad. Right now, the biggest concern is that it might get in his mastoid and make him go deaf in that ear, so any thoughts/prayers/whatever are appreciated.

Ear infections can certainly be a very nasty business, but if they're getting IV ABX into him already it should help a great deal. I'll go ahead and handle the hiatus, of course, and by all means do tell him I hope he feels better soon!
