G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Directions:

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

[The watch feed flickers into view of a tanned face covered mostly by green and black goggles. A large smile, and red cheeks, and then the person leans back some to show a boyish face in whole. The voice accompanying it, however, is high pitched, and that of a girl.]

Tick-Tock. Tick-Tock! Look who's speaking on the old man's watch! Ed would like to know where Ed is please!

[Action]

[The door opens to a figure walking in on both hands, legs slightly bent backwards as Ed hums her way across the threshold. Once in the middle of the cafe, she practically crumbles to the ground, before sitting up promtly, looking around through her goggle lenses. A large smile graces her face as she giggles in delight.]

Ooooooooooh! Tea time! Tea time!

[Eren's just trying to have an nice cup of coffee and some cake. Trying.

Because someone just walked into the cafe on their hands and...fell in the middle of the room]

.... Uh....

I'm reeeeally nervous about her!

[And just like that, she begins to roll across the floor again, making a bee line straight for the person who just so happened to give her attention. Crawling up onto the table, she perches there, practically looming over the guy as she sniffs his coffee, then sticks out her tongue and rolls off of the table, disappearing over the edge.]

Ai-yah! Not tea. Gross, gross! Too bitter.

[Eren just kind of watches her like a deer caught in headlights. She sniffs his coffee, then rolls off the table???? UHHHHH]

Uh... no? It's... coffee. Uh... are you ok? [like... in the head...???]

Thank you. I really hope so.

[Appearing back over the edge, she rests her chin on the table top, waving her hands in the air above her as she grumbles.]

Hungry. Hungry. Ed needs food. Thirsty. Thirsty. What's over heeeeeere!

[The apparently easily distracted child then hops from the table chair to the cafe counter, standing enough to look at the menu and read.]

Coffee. Coffee. Too much coffee. Not enough stuff to nom nom nom!

[she's kind of like a dog, Eren thinks. If dogs could talk, he is pretty sure this is how it would sound. He watches her with an eyebrow quirked. Should he help her?

He sighs. Yeah... he should. He stands up and walks over to the counter]

Hey, uh... so what is it you want to eat, uh... Ed, right?

[A backflip later, and she lands on her feet in a crouch, pointing up at the menu. Finger begins to bounce as she smiles, singing out a bit too loudly.]

Eeny meeny minyyyyyyyy-- WHOAHOHOA. THAT! [She then stands and points to the sandwich on the menu. A simple peanut butter and banana. She's practically drooling, looking over at the guy with a puppy dog face.]

[That? Really? Well. Ok. Eren leans over the counter] One peanut-butter banana sandwich, please. ... And a bottle of water.

[because this child does not need caffeine. Ever. At all.]

[Continuously, she bounced and rolled on the floor, giggling and laughing before pulling her goggles off of her face, letting them settle around her neck.]

Can Ed find a computer? Ed would like to check and see where Ed is.

[Eren takes the sandwich and drink and sets it on a nearby table, then leads this weird little hyper ball of girl to it and guides her to sit down. Like a normal person, ideally]

A uh... a what? You're in Ruby City. I don't know what a computer is.

[None of that registers to her because she is now inhaling both the sandwich and the drink, and luckily not the bottle itself.]

[he sighs and goes to get his own coffee, watching her and making sure she doesn't actually inhale the food, because food in your lungs is bad.

Actually, it kind of reminds him of when he first got here and discovered FREE UNLIMITED FOOD. He wasn't quite so... spirited, though. ]

[Once finished, she held up her watch, shaking it a bit as she bounced onto the table top, sitting there indian style.]

This watch is a computer! Ed would like to know the code to it so Ed can get more information.

Ah? It is? [Eren fishes his own watch out of his pocket, looking at it] A computer is a communicator? ... Ah, sorry. I don't think I can help you with any kind of "code". This thing is waaay more advanced than anything we've got back home.
