Let's take this for a spin

G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Charlotte Aulin ✟ Castlevania
[ Charlotte hadn't bothered waiting around at the train station. This place... was this a more modern portrait? Arriving on that train, it certainly felt like she was back within the gothic victorian city portrait again... except there were no monsters lurking around that she could see or detect.
Just... people.
At first, she'd thought she'd been transported directly back into Dracula's Castle, something that she thought to be impossible -- she and Jonathan had defeated him and sent him and his servant Death back to the depths of hell where they belonged, right?
Regardless, she'd found her way to the Cathedral, and entered it, finding it practically empty, which was fine by her. Charlotte wasn't much of a people person, and the solitude was nice.
When you see the young witch, she's standing calmly in front of one of the large stained glass windows, a large, heavy looking tome tucked carefully under her left arm. It looks old and worn, but looks can be deceiving. Magic users and those sensitive to it can probably feel the power and magic pulsing from the otherwise ordinary looking book. Feel free to question her about it, but don't think about touching it. ]
[ The Library ]
[ THIS was more like it. Finally, a place that would surely give her a good, decent explanation as to where the hell she was. She'd eagerly grabbed an arm full of books and had plopped them down at one of the tables furthest away from... well, wherever anyone else was sitting.
If approached, one will take notice again of the heavy tome that is resting on the table. Again, those with sensitivity to magic can probably feel something special about it. ]
[cathedral]
The Cathedrel would be a good place to get himself oriented, he decided as he started to head over at a quick clip, only slowing as something nagged at the very edge of his sense]
Huh...?
[Cautiously he pushes the door open, and peeks in, a hand stuck into his pocket just in case]

The Major / Hellsing
[There was no necessity in eating. His body, now mostly machine, ran on its own perpetually with need for only occasional maintenance. Even so, he reveled in the experience that came from eating. A gloved hand wrapped itself around a scone with a cup of steaming darjeeling sits just next to a dish of yet more scones.
The Major has been here all day, talking to any patron who would muster up enough courage to sit next to him. He laughs, his mouth still full of pastry, as he indulges his mood to chat up a storm.]
I never cared much for English food. They're not nearly as hearty as real food should be. Most of the meat is just ground up into their little pies and pudding as if a man couldn't bother chewing his own food.
[He tosses the scone into his mouth, though at a short distance, now chewing what's left of it.]
How an empire sustained itself on this, I will never understand!
[If you ask around enough, you'll find that he's actually a regular. Why, even?]
Train Station
[Now and then, he would sit on one of the benches in the terminal, sitting and waiting for the train to arrive. There isn't much that he actually does besides that. Should a train come, the Major would flash a grin and wave, still sitting.]
Welcome.
[He would say, ever smiling. Sometimes he would have a scone in his hand and a thermos of coffee beside him.]
Le Cafe Anglais
Immediately she was back tracking towards the source of the voice, giddy and practically bouncing as she took a seat across from him. How did she miss his arrival!?]
Good afternoon Major~. I zee you are enjoying zome of zhe local cuisine. I do hope it lives up to your standards even if it iz bland English food.

Seijuurou Mikoshiba | Free!
[ What's this hot captain doing in a library of all places? Well, it started raining hard, and while he likes water, he prefers being able to choose to jump into it instead of randomly being caught in it. But he's unexpectedly quiet, trying his best not to drip all over the place.
He seems to be looking at the books, maybe trying to find some information on the place... ]
Le Cafe Anglais:
[ What a cute place. Mikoshiba's looking for a cup of tea, and though he's admittedly more used to green tea than the western sort, he seems to be enjoying a cup of milk tea. He seems rather friendly, won't you sit down and have a chat? ]
Library
Don't get the books wet. They're only paper, after all.
[Tieria doesn't even make eye contact, continuing to place books from the stack in hand back onto the shelves. ]

Sasha Loloches | Vampire OC
[In the pre-dawn gloom, a pale-skinned woman clad in black leather stalks the misty streets of the city. A long, slim blade glints in one hand, the sword naked; its edge is strangely hard to look at, as though seen through a heat-haze.]
Look, you can't just yell at me to stab random people...no, I don't care how hungry you are, I'm hungry too! You never had any restraint when you were alive, better learn some now...no, I will not 'find you an unattended cow', you great glutton! And besides, if I knew where to find one, I'd have already had a drink myself.
[She seems to be deep in a heated, if one-sided, argument with her weapon. Perhaps someone ought to ask her to put it away in public?]
2. [Splashing through puddles, one very wet and unhappy vampire dashes out of a sudden, violent rainstorm and into the first sanctuary that offers itself. It is not until she has started wringing out her hair, grimacing with dismay as water beads on her leather jacket and drips to the floor, that she realizes precisely where she is.]
Oh, great...a church? Brilliant, Sasha, why not just sprinkle a salt circle around yourself and yell blasphemies while you're at it?
[She pauses and visibly controls herself - was it a trick of the light, or had her teeth started to extend into fangs for a moment there? - and sheds her jacket, wringing out excess water from her clothes and trying hard not to look like she's about to rip any throats open.]
4. [A pale - almost grayish-skinned - woman argues heatedly with the waiter at the Black Stallion Saloon; something about "sure you can serve it raw, it's just like steak tartare" and "when I said bloody-rare, I meant it!"
She doesn't appear to realize that she's making a scene, and the poor woman does look awfully hungry.]
Scenario 4
Excuse me. Would you by any chance be looking to feast on something other than raw meat and need a particular substitute? I don't believe they would serve something like that here, but hey. Why not see what you could get?
Re: Scenario 4
Oerba Yun Fang | Final Fantasy XIII/XIII-2
Alessandro XVIII || Trinity Blood
[Trains aren't an unusual thing for him, not really. What is unusual is that he hadn't boarded one. He had been with Caterina but...
Alec looks around quietly, wringing his hands together nervously and steps forward. The doors of the train slide shut and the train pulls out, making the young pope jump and stumble back a couple more steps before tripping and falling back.]
S-sister?
[He glances around again before getting to his feet, carefully brushing at his clothes.] Caterina..?
[Cathedral]
[Nothing to see here. Just a small Pope. Praying.]
[Wild Card]
[Alessandro can be found exploring or visiting just about anywhere. Perhaps the library or the Coffee Joint or Le Cafe Anglais. Just about anywhere in town but he won't leave town without the help of someone who can fight.]
Train Station
Are you all right, child?
[She really had no clue that this was the highest ranking person in Abel's religion. To her, he was just a child. She wasn't bothering to hide what she was, but it was a bit hard to tell that she wasn't quite human. Though maybe the elaborate cloak that she wore would give it away.]

Apollo Justice | Ace Attorney
[Here we have a new arrival name Apollo Justice who was frantically pacing about at the train station. He just came off a train he doesn't recall ever getting on and there was no one around that could help him, no one that could be working the place anyway. Just where was here anyway!?]
What the hell is going on here!? (This has got to someone's idea of a prank. A really good one if I can't remember what happened to me the last few hours.)
[There were others who arrived by train as well, all looking as confused as he was. He wasn't sure how much help they were going to be, but--]
H-Hey! Uh, excuse me...!
[Option 2 - Oh god it's Raining!]
[Where is Apollo going to take refuge is up to you. Maybe he stopped in front of your apartment building, or at the tea shop. Whatever floats your boat]

Count Vlad Tepes "Dracula" // Castlevania
[It had been a long night after awaking here. One minute he'd been in the heart of his castle with Shaft seeing to his regeneration while a Belmont - of all things - kept his son at bay. The next, he'd woken up in his coffin at a train station, cut off from his castle. Needless to say, the Lord of Darkness was less than pleased. He had made his way over to the library in an attempt to research this new place and perhaps find some sort of prey to pass his time.]

She's just about to take up her usual spot at the table farthest from where people normally sit, when she notices something. No, not something... someone.
She slams her books down onto the table, not giving a damn for the first time that this is a library and libraries are not for yelling and causing a scene. She points accusingly at the vampire, who looks pretty stupid sitting there with books of his own. ]

Mary | Ib
[This isn't where she's supposed to be. She's clearly out of That Place but this isn't the gallery. No paintings, no statues, no front desk, nothing.
Mary's not sure how she got here but as she stops off the--what was it? A train, right?--moving thing she stares up into the sky. It's weird. This is the outside world. She can't remember how she got here but well.
She laughs, a little wildly. She's finally seeing things she's never seen before. ]
Exploring! In the Rain!
[There's a young girl wandering the streets in the pouring rain. Someone probably should bring her inside...]
prompt b! also OH MY GOODNESS
Of course the very last thing Ib expected to see out in the rain was that familiar mane of blonde hair, albeit wet and somewhat flattened now, wandering the streets of Ruby City. She has to stare for a long moment before she can even comprehend Mary's presence, eyes wide as saucers as her mind attempts to decide if she should be happy or scared, upset or worried. It's an emotion overload.
Before she can really figure out how to react, she's already exclaimed in surprise,]
M-Mary!

Kou Mikano | Original Character
[Okay. This was strange, even for him.
Which was saying something considering the past month for Kou had consisted of him fighting against the embodiment of the Seven Deadly Sins, and his entire life involved him being the vessel of a psychotic
in his humble opinionspirit. But today had actually been a normal day. Kou had gotten up, grabbed his books and gone to class. But then he had suddenly woken up on a train. His initial reaction had been that he'd just gotten on the wrong subway at first, and was prepared to find a conductor or map when he got off the train.
Except when he got off the there was no one there and the train pulled away almost immediately. It's left Kou to stand there, staring after it while the panic begins to rise]
I think we have a problem~ [The voice echoed in his mind, and he can't help but hiss a soft 'shut up' as he looks around. There's a post that reads 'Ruby City', but the name doesn't sound familiar at all to him.
Deep breath. He just needs to breath and-]
What is it that girl says in that movie? "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore"!
Shut up!
[This time he screams, hands rising to cover his ears.]
Well you're certainly going to look quite crazy to anyone that comes by.
[Kou hates his life.]
The Coffee Joint
[After his initial arrival, and small panic attack, Kou's managed to make his way into the city proper. He's been wandering around aimlessly for a good two hours now. Nothing has been familiar, but at least Markel has shut up.
For now.
Of course knowing his luck it began pouring, leaving Kou to duck into the first store he saw.
... And knowing his luck, of course that would be a coffee shop.
Kou really hates his life.]
Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV || Cowboy Bebop
[Video]
[The watch feed flickers into view of a tanned face covered mostly by green and black goggles. A large smile, and red cheeks, and then the person leans back some to show a boyish face in whole. The voice accompanying it, however, is high pitched, and that of a girl.]
Tick-Tock. Tick-Tock! Look who's speaking on the old man's watch! Ed would like to know where Ed is please!
[[Le Cafe Anglais]]
[Action]
[The door opens to a figure walking in on both hands, legs slightly bent backwards as Ed hums her way across the threshold. Once in the middle of the cafe, she practically crumbles to the ground, before sitting up promtly, looking around through her goggle lenses. A large smile graces her face as she giggles in delight.]
Ooooooooooh! Tea time! Tea time!

Because someone just walked into the cafe on their hands and...fell in the middle of the room]

Sukuna Shinmyoumaru | Touhou Project
[There's something really weird about the train today. Specifically, the train is about... we'd say 1/24 of the size it ought to be as it pulls into the station. A small platform extends out of it and upwards, allowing the sole passenger -- who can't be more than a few inches high -- out of the train. Adjusting the ramen bowl she wears as a hat, she looks around in amazement.]
W...wow! What is this place? And... why am I here? What was that thing that brought me here? Ahh, this is so strange...
Le Cafe Anglais
[Strange sight number two for the day: A slice of strawberry cake, currently being eaten in very small bites by a very small child. Small enough to, say, be drinking tea out of a thimble. She seems to be easily pleased, at least.]
Shebang/Lola Crúz | Superheroine OC
[Now, the light rail back in B-More may be shifty as fuck, but this train station? This one is a whole new kind shifty. In the whole kind of 'not-supposed-to-be-here' shifty way. Shebang is sure something ain't right here.
If a tall afro-latina in superhero spandex comes up to you and grabs your shoulder, expect her to say--]
Excuse me, honey, but can you tell me what exactly is goin' on here?
The Coffee Joint
[Coffee is meant to be strong and dark, and that's just the kind of coffee Lola is drinking, dressed in a black-and-red halter dress, tall, black heels, and a black sweater. It looks like she's changed her bangs accordingly as well-- they're a bright shocking red to match.]
Hey there, sugar. You come over here and take a seat with me.
[She grins, patting the table.]
You ain't itchin' to talk to nobody?
Train station!
Sojourner - well no, Sparrow since she's in uniform - blinks at the sudden question. She's been busy mopping up her split lip to realize anyone else was even on the platform with her.]

Tamaki Suoh ♚ Ouran High School Host Club
[Albeit, having spent no more than a day within the confines of the city, and taking up residence within a mostly (for the time being) bare apartment, Tamaki has a special message for the city. Taking a seat on his bed, he flicks on the video feed.]
Good day, fellow citizens of Ruby City. Have I a proposition for you!
[He gushes excitedly, beaming a smile for the camera.]
When ladies are in need, it is absolutely imperative we must cater to their desires.
[SO IMPERATIVE.]
This is why I, Tamaki Suoh, propose the formation of a 'host club'. And together, we will strive to make the city great!

Lady | Devil May Cry
[This is the last place Lady wants to be. Wherever the hell it may be. Already throwing her day into something she isn't ready for leaves her on edge. She hates the feeling of being vulnerable and at a disadvantage. After all, she likes to know what she's doing, step by meticulous step, so she knows her next course of action. Unwanted sight seeing has left her pacing back and forth in mild distress, but more importantly, in anger. Notably one with a short temper as it is, it's the unfortunate trash bin that seems to get the brunt of Lady's anger, which gets a swift kick hard enough she leaves a dent.
Just pay no mind to the teenager who seems a little...
Well armed. With a large rocket launcher (big as her nonetheless) strapped onto her back.]

Levi ► Attack on Titan
[ Did you know that white clothing becomes transparent when it gets wet.
Levi knew. Levi knew very, very well.
Which is why instead of running around like a dumbass and giving everyone and their dog a look at his legs like some kind of taudry showigirl, he was waiting the storm out under an overhang. The look on his face was mostly blank, except for the slight tick in his eyebrows, making him look just as petulant as a cat stuck in the same circumstances. Everything about this was dumb. Everything. ]
{ Wild Card: Clocktower. }
[ Something about using 3DMG as long as he had made a man feel more comfortable up than down. Which is why you can find Levi sitting on top of the Clock Tower and watching the view. It wasn't like he had anything better to do; humanity was mostly saved here. This was almost like vacation, really.
Vacation with shitty brats running around, but vacation none the less. No paperwork, no titans, nothing. Just bullshit kidnapping and the antics of morons.
It was almost nice. ]

No, it had to rain. Draco was forced to seek shelter in the nearest shoppe. It was dirty and filled with plebeians from what he could see from the outside.

Samuel "Jetstream Sam" Rodrigues || Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
[To say that Sam was peeved is an understatement. Heck, there's probably no word that could describe how much anger he felt right now as he got off the train. Seriously, who thought it'd be funny to drag him away when he was right in the middle of what might have been one last battle with Raiden?!
In any case, he's looking pretty ticked right now. The hand that was on the hilt of his sword as he glanced around did not help him look any more approachable. He might have cursed in a different language under his breath too if one passes by.]

Rufus ShinRa | Final Fantasy VII
[A young man sat on one of the benches shrouded from casual view in one of the blankets that could be found at the station, all that could be seen from afar were a pair of black dress shoes and a pair of pale hands holding onto a watch. He didn't know where he was, or for that matter, just how he had gotten here, beyond the obvious. What he did know was he wasn't in the least pleased about being apparently kidnapped once again and this time seemingly right from beneath the noses of the Turks.
The watch was interesting though, he'd managed to figure out a couple of the buttons via trial and error and was currently investigating the function of the rest of them. Once he figured it out, if no one had shown up to explain things, he would see about finding his own way out of this place and getting back to Edge.]
They see me trollin'~
But, because of the hood she's having trouble recognizing who it is. Until she notices the shoes. Only one man in her life wore shoes like that. And even after their brief meetings she'd know the owner pretty easily.]

[ It looks a little awkward, but there he is, as big as he is with his robe and all, sitting... comfortably(??) in a tiny chair, sipping a cup of tea. Oh look, he even has his pinky extended! What a gentleman he is.
There's an empty chair by his table, however! Wouldn't you mind joining him? He might even offer you a smile and ask for your company if you happen to pass by! Who could say no to this face. No one, clearly. ]
Wildcard/The lake:
[ This city sure is boring sometimes, so Gilles has gone for a long, long walk, finally stopping by the lake. You'll find him with his feet dug into the sand, crouching by the shore--- Is that tentacles? It's most likely tentacles.
It's... definitely tentacles. Yeah.
He seems to be enjoying himself however, trying to make smalltalk with Kraken. ]
THE LAKE Oh godddd
Its entirely possible that it is who he thinks it is - the city has done stranger. But even Gilgamesh is preferable to Caster. He tries to speed up - keeping distance from Caster while still passing him to ensure that it is him. He'll have to call Saber about this when he's back in the library.]

Tachibana Makoto | Free! Iwatobi Swim Club {Unreserved}
[He thinks, if only to ignore the rising panic that threatens to overwhelm him, that he must have fallen asleep on the train and consequently missed his stop. There's no other explanation, really. There are mostly questions, questions which Makoto isn't sure he wants to ask himself in fear that he's perhaps not dreaming. That, and he swallows, glancing around nervously as the train pulls away, this isn't a dream concocted by both a morning of training and an afternoon spent indulging Nagisa.
If he had in fact fallen asleep and missed his stop, then he shouldn't be alone. Haru should be nearby. They must have gone home together. Makoto swallows again, hands balling up into fists as he spares another hurried glance around his unknown surroundings before spotting the flash of someone's passing shadow]
H-Haru?

Hey!
[ The poor guy looks confused, though he does understand, it's not everyday one gets... kidnapped into other worlds. Yeah. It takes a small moment until the name comes to mind, but he does recognize him as Rin's friend, as well as the captain for that other team. ]
Tachibana-san, right?
