[Unfortunately for Levi, the clocktower was already occupied. Damara had taken to hiding up there during the day, as it seemed like a much safer place to sleep. Trolls were nocturnal by nature, and a few days in a city full of beings who were awake during the day weren't enough to get her to change that behavior.

At first, she didn't hear Levi arrive. She was sleeping too deeply to notice him. But eventually she became aware of the presence of someone else in the clock tower, and soon she was watching him from the shadows, instead of just sleeping in them.

It takes a few minutes, but eventually she speaks up. And if Levi looks, most of Damara will be obscured by shadows, but some of her will be visible. Most notably her orange eyes.]

What are you doing up here?

[ Levi knew she was there. He'd be a shitty soldier if he didn't even know when another living being happened to be in the vicinity; in fact, he'd be so shitty, he'd be dead. But as it was, he was the best. And he knew Damara was there.

He just really didn't care.

Glancing lazily over a shoulder, he raises an eyebrow just a fraction before settling back into his usual deadpan stare. ]

Taking a shit. [ A minuscule roll of the eyes. ] What do you think I'm doing?

[SO RUDE.]

If it were any other troll besides me, I would say 'asking to get shoved out of the tower.'

[She is grumpy, because her sleep is disturbed (and it wasn't really that good of sleep to begin with), but she is nowhere near as randomly violent as most trolls are. Being raised outside of troll influence helped curb that murderous nature.]

If you are looking for a place to spy on everyone else, there are better places. The tower has a limited view of the streets to the west.

Well ain't it great that I'm not spying then, isn't it? I'd hate to miss all the west streets.

[ It's almost hard to tell if he's being sarcastic. His face doesn't move much and neither does his voice, really. It can be quite the challenge. ]
