PLOTTING POST 2.0: ELECTRIC KILLING BOOGALOO

By popular demand and also to make things easier for everyone concerned, here is a second plotting post whereby all Holy Grail War participants can plot out how and when they want to kill each other! If you'd like to have your character kill or be killed during the event, please use this space to plot to your heart's content.

As a reminder, when the time comes to actually start a thread where a death will happen, please inform either Meg or myself so that we can keep everyone else up to date with events. Happy plotting!

Okay, cool-- I've got another question but it requires an explanation.

Danmaku in canon is a specific non-lethal battle system (developed to be non-lethal, so that even ordinary humans have a fighting chance ) that the participants MUST default to if challenged, and the loser MUST honor the outcome of the battle. Am I right in thinking that if Tojiko challenges Okuu to a danmaku battle, Okuu won't have any of her specific ability sets of danmaku, since I didn't list them in her abilities? Or will she have them for the specific danmaku battle and only for that battle?

Because if she doesn't have any danmaku abilities overall, that'd be an automatic win for Tojiko.

Fel and I conferenced on this. Here's what we're thinking:

You're correct with the thought that if Tojiko challenges Okuu to a danmaku battle, Okuu will not have any of the abilities she would have available to her otherwise, since they weren't included on the original stats sheet. My question is would any of her noble phantasms come into play here, or because this is the specific battle system, they wouldn't be a factor at all? I want to make sure I"m understanding things properly.

They wouldn't come into play into the danmaku battle system. During it without any of the specific spell cards, as they're called, the most she's be able to do is dodge, fly, and only if she gets close can she use basic melee attacks.

Ultimately I just need to know if Okuu will be dying (and that's pretty much up to you two), and if the safe house will take any structural damage.

Also general apologies for being a fucking hardass about getting this particular stuff through. It sprung up pretty suddenly and I know people are rushing!

Speaking as a general dumbass ("that's... DuMAS") about this series, is it actually possible to make someone use up so much mana they just sort of burn themselves out in a battle?

Yep, absolutely! The risk is that a servant will also drain their master of mana and kill them as well.
