THE IC CONFESSION MEME

Has your character ever wanted to confess something to another character, whether good or bad?  Well, here's a chance for your character to confess whatever's on their mind!  Who knows, maybe its your character's deepest darkest secrets - dispair-worthing tragedies such as failing to save someone to cheating on your third grade history exam.  Or maybe yours is just itching to tell someone else that yeah, you think they're kind of a prick.  You know how it is.

2.) Post to other character,s either logged in or anon, and tell them how you really feel!
3.) Remember, this is an IC meme, not an OOC one. OOC shenanigans are fun, but let's keep this IC!

That thing with Sephiroth a couple weeks ago.

I did what I felt I had to to protect the city as best as I could. Is it because I put myself in such danger without asking for help that you're scared?

I think it's because you were offered help from people who love you.

And I didn't take it. Yes. That....was not a smart move on my part. I guess you could say I was being stubborn and thought I could handle the situation.

I also didn't want to put those people in harms way. I could barely control Sephiroth. If they were to die by his hand while I was in control...I don't think I could have...


I pushed them away to keep them safe. What I believed was safe.

When you pushed them away, your partner had to find you. Was it worth it?

....Yes and no.

Yes because the damage could have been so much more. Another person could have been hurt and manipulated - maybe even tortured - so Sephiroth could get the Grail. I'd rather shoulder the burden of dealing with him given my knowledge of him, of what he could do, than have somebody else suffer him.

And no because I failed in stopping Sephiroth fully, because I was caught off guard and killed and Sephiroth was able to cause more damage under a new and eager Master, and because my partner found me the way he did. I'll never not hear that sound in the back of my head for the rest of my time here.
