NOV. TEST DRIVE

G'day, Ruby City!
Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

Well, I hope you like playing the Piano.
[ He smiles faintly at his bad attempt at a joke, before putting his serious face back on. ]
Seriously, though, I had my doubts at first. What with the disbarring scandal and whatnot, I can't say I didn't feel conflicted...
With that out of the way, though, they were quickly cleared. It was a bit weird to make something out of the situation, but over the time I came to learn how much of an admirable person you were.
[ He doesn't say this sort of stuff out of the blue, so. ]
Not only are you a great caretaker to Trucy, you are also a very resourceful person. Had it not been for your work over the time, a lot of mysteries would have gone unsolved, such as Trucy being my half-sister.

Wait, she's what?

It's... a long story, to say the least. I guess you'll find out eventually, though, if you're really from the past.

Depends, if she's also from the past, she might not know...
no subject
[It's not like she'd remember when she leaves. But how would she react?]
no subject
[That'd make for an interesting couple of hours.]

[Or free time for that matter.]
It was a bit behind-the-scenes, and I might've missed a thing or two, but it all unraveled nicely, I'd say.

[I don't know, that actually sounds sort of cool.]

[The worst part is realizing it really was.]

[Too bad I won't remember this later, though. If nothing else, at least I'd be able to get piano lessons before everything goes south.]

Hopefully, nothing. And if you do get your hands on any, I'll pay you a trip to Eldoon's in exchange for silence.

It's almost tradition to visit Eldoon's after a won trial. To be fair, I can't really picture it any other way.

[Much to my wallet's eternal sorrow.]
no subject
[More like continued sorrow.]

[Note to self: Take advantage of Mr. Wright for burgers.]

[Future me, your finances are secured. For now, anyway.]

[No! Come back, my beautiful burgers...]
--Wait, what?

That's... good to know?
[ Not really. ]
So let me get this straight. We're in some sort of pocket dimension we only recall when we're actually in it and can be taken back to our own world at a moment's notice?
