Oh! This is a cross. It is a holy relic; many people who go to Church or who are Christians wear them. [ She is religious, yes, but she wears hers for a different reason. No one's touching her throat with their damned fangs. ]

Yes. Holy items are related to religion itself. There are many religions, but the cross relates to God and his son Jesus Christ... well, at least it does where I am from. Most people wear these for protection from evil. My husband gave me this one many years ago as a gift after we were engaged to be married.
