[ he doesn't remember having celebrated any incarnation of Christmas when he was younger, but then again, things had been different back then. admittedly, finding himself in a city like this -- one that lacked the technological advancements of his own world to an almost painful degree -- was equal to if not worse than being locked up in a private house owned by his parents, and more often than not he found himself at a severe loss when it came to finding ways to pass the time.

so it's by chance that he's out and about, really, strolling aimlessly through the city and taking in th he festivities with the air of someone completely removed from the situation emotionally. he's looking at everything and yet seeing nothing, but it's more for a lack of interest than anything else.

and so that's how he ends up stuck under the mistletoe with such a formidable woman. he spends several moments just taking in her appearance, disinterested, then points to the plant overhead. ]
