The Doctor had been heading outside just to get a sniff of fresh air, maybe go for a little walk to the station and back. Check for new arrivals. Take a look at the obelisk. Nothing out of the ordinary. What he hadn't expected at all though was nearly crushing into Jane, who looked like she was about to knock on the TARDIS door. He stops just in time, right in front of her, their faces huddled close together.

"Jane! Blimey, what are you doing here?"

Jane was surprised when she almost nearly crashed into the Doctor. Taking a step back, she smiled, a little embarrassed.

"Sorry about that! I just wanted to ask some questions, see if you have ever seen what I have." She brought out her notebook and showed him a few pages where the stars and other objects were acting oddly. "Or if you had any theories."

He can't help but smile, seriously happy at her curiosity. Oh, if only he could show her all the wonders of the universe instead of just telling her about them. She'd be brilliant out there. They would have the most amazing time together, better even than the time spent together here.

"Oh, sure. Of course! I'd like that", he nods, grinning from ear to ear as he pushed the TARDIS' door open a little further again, meaning to step back in and having her follow. But wait. What's this? For some reason he can't step inside. "Wait, what the-", he blinks in confusion, trying again, but no matter how far he stretches he is unable to move both of his feet inside again.

Who wouldn't have an amazing time? Running around, exploring new worlds, meeting new peoples, hearing other languages and sounds and all of the sights... Not to mention the scientific data!

Jane frowns when he can't move, and tries to move as well, bet her feet are just as stuck.
