[Eren makes the mistake of wandering over to Levi, not noticing the green sprig of parasitic madness dangling from the ceiling. Whatever, the party is great! He's got a gingerbread cookie and he's bringing it over to the corporal]

Levi! You have to try this.

[ The party is awful. Someone managed to coerce Levi into some kind of red hat with a white fur trim and a white puff on the end. He hates it. ]

The hell is that?

[ He raises an eyebrow, looking at the gingerbread cookie. ]

Is that supposed to be a person?

[greatrage]

[but it's adorable! Eren has a red jacket with white trim and he loves it ok. There's also a little sprig of holly clipped to his hair. What a fruit.]

Yeah! It's called a "gingerbread man". Try it.

[ Don't make it gay, Eren. Levi makes a face. This feels- awkward. Do you see the parallel's, Eren. Do you.

He picks it up anyway. ]

Fine. [ He has to let the kid win sometimes. ]

[surprisingly, no. And besides, it's just a cookie, heichou. It's not kicking and screaming. He grins down at Levi]

That doesn't surprise me.

[ Trying not to think too much about it, Levi bites off the gingerbread man's head- let's just end his torture, okay? He chews for a bit before his nose wrinkles. Okay- no what is this spice, get it out of his mouth-- ]

[ Levi makes a bad Titan, to the relief of gingerbread men everywhere. ]

You don't like how it tastes? [well, it IS unique. Maybe that's why Eren likes it. Unfortunately for the gingerbread man, and gingerbread men everywhere, Eren is a very good Titan and he scarfs down the rest of the cookie.

And spots something above them as he does]

... aww man. How many sprigs of that stuff are up in here anyway?!

[ Levi looks up and then immediately scowls. First the dumb hat, then the weird cookie, and now this.

Levi was tired of kissing 15 year old's, they weren't very good at it. ]

Too much. Take it down.

[ Because Levi certainly couldn't reach it. ]

[greatrage]

Yeah. One second... [Eren's pretty tall, but he still has to stand on tippy toes to grab it and pull it down. It seems harmless enough. Kind of weirdly fleshy, with pretty white berries] ... But... I wonder... it's supposed to be really bad luck or something if the tradition is broken! We can't really afford more bad luck, Corporal!

[cleansliness]

[ He almost sounds longing. Maybe he could deal with just a little more bad luck--?

....Levi knew they couldn't. He sighs. ]

Ugh. Fine.

[greatrage]

No! You never know how bad the bad luck could be! What if this place decided to punish us by bringing in a population of Titans or something...?!

[well that would be fun, wouldn't it... but innocent people!!]

It doesn't have to be anything major just... um... [he leans down and gives Levi and kiss on the forehead cause that's what he can reach. His lips are stupidly warm]

[ ........Levi knows he didn't mean to, but that kiss felt so condescending for some reason. He makes a face. ]

Don't pussy out, Jaeger. Do it right.

[ Levi grabs Eren's fuzzy collar and yanks him down to his level. ]

Don't want to risk the Titans, right?

[ And with that, Levi helps his ego feel a little bit better by kissing Eren right on his stupidly warm lips. ]

[oh walls Eren would never dream of being condescending to Levi. But it kind of happens sometimes anyway. Shortstuff.]

What do you-- [Eren makes a funny, surprised sound in his throat when Levi yanks him down and an even MORE surprised noise when he plants one on his lips] ghhh-hhh!

[ Like everything with Levi, the kiss is fast, thorough, and to the point. Pulling back, he raises an eyebrow at that flustered face Eren is most likely making. ]

Don't forget to throw that shit away.

[ And with that, he lets go of Eren's collar and walks away. Maybe he'd find some sugar cookies. They were much more to his taste. ]

[flustered? you bet. Also stunned. And confused. And maybe a little weirded out.

He blinks as Levi walks away, touching his lips lightly with his hand.

Well... I guess Levi never really was one for doing things half-assed.]
