Hi there! My name is Odie and I'm new to the game. I'm bringing in Caius Ballad from Final Fantasy XIII-2 and I do have a permission's post up if anyone wants to fill it out to help me get a better understanding of the characters he'll come across.

He's coming in with Yeul so he'll be more involved in protecting the her and he'll stay very close to her. So, with that said, he'll be pretty mellow while he watches her pick flowers. He's coming from 200AF which means he'll be a lot more civil and easier to talk to if you don't mind a lot of prose, flowery words and yes, he'll even address people with titles instead of names until he gets to know them or unless he's corrected with proper names.

He's able to be reasoned with in this pull point and he's able to at least think reasonably even if he's not entirely sociable.

So, with that said, here is his permissions.

Ah, he'll definitely want to figure out this place and he'll be glad that Yeul isn't connected here like she is on Gran Pulse so that's a bonus. ^_^ With a little time and patience, I can see them in alliance. (Wow, the time puns, so not intentional.)

No kidding! And yes, definitely! He'll be less anal and actually want to live a little himself, thank gods for that. He might actually be a normal person. :D (He'll still be a hardass, but yeah, there's no way of getting around that.) Overprotective daddy figure, oh most definitely.

That's pretty much the effect the city has had on Light too. She is like "wait. I can relax?" and then that leads to her feeling guilty because "WHERE IS SERAH?!" but then she understands there's nothing she can do. Silly Mother Hen.

Gah, no kidding. These two definitely need some R&R and he'll need to adjust to this place. Thankfully, he's adaptable to new surroundings because time travel, yep, he's seen it all. He's actually going to be pretty grateful for that Mother Hen complex she has.

And then Caius is all,

"How amusing."

Then man barely laughs. /facepalms

Don't laugh at her, Caius. >8( She had to become a motherly older sister at a young age.

And yes her mother had pink hair too.

How about a smirk instead? (Oh, he knows that role. He's been raising Yeul like a father so they can share parenting tips.)

I have headcanon that Caius has his father's face but his mother's hair and eye color.

Always. XD (He wasn't really evil, but just a ~little~ bit crazy from being alive for so long. He likes being intimidating, I think.)

If only we knew the truth. It's a lot of make-up-things-as-you-go sort of thing.

I think the Lightning inheriting her hair from her mother thing is canon? It's on the wiki, which doesn't make it official, but it makes sense? I can't really see a guy pulling off the pink locks. XD

I noticed that. Yeah, I can see it though for both Serah and Lightning. It just doesn't work for men unless they're Yuj. I play him too in museboxes where I started off with Caius.

(I'm patient. I'll wait for another day or two since app days are pretty busy.)
