Inspired by the plurk meme last week or something, haven't you ever wanted to see how your CR would work in Ruby City? Well now your character was born and raised in the HP world. (And if you are a part of the HP cast then welcome home I suppose!)

⚘ RULES:
- Post with your character, the fandom, their house and if you want to, their year (or what their house was when they were a student, etc etc.)
- Character can be a Hogwarts Student, a visiting student for the Triwizard Tournament, or an adult of any sort! (If your character is "old" feel free to de age them, or have them be teachers. Or give options for both. That's my plan)
- Roll between 1-14 at RNG, or don't!
- Reply to others.
- Profit.

1 ⚘ CLASS: You may pick the class, but really the class picks you. Passing notes? Eying up the teacher? In class whispering? Spells going wrong? Any thing goes!

2 ⚘ LIBRARY: SSSSHHHH! It's study time, but some just don't see it that way.

3 ⚘ HOGSMEADE: With all that hard work, it's time for a well deserved break. Go for a walk, drop by the Three Broomsticks, get some shopping done, or maybe take a peek into the Shrieking Shack, so long as something doesn't grab you.

4 ⚘ QUIDDITCH: For some people, the Quidditch pit is the place to be. Whether you're practicing, watching a game or just doing homework in the stands, this might just be the place for you.

5 ⚘ FORBIDDEN FOREST: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? IT'S FORBIDDEN. Be careful the spiders don't get you.

6 ⚘ DIAGON ALLEY: Whether near or far, this is where your fellow wizards and witches will gather. Making a day of it or just dropping in to get some chores done? Take a load off, maybe keep an eye out for your friends as they come out of Gringotts or sneak off into Knockturn Alley.

7 ⚘ MEAL TIME: Ah, the Great Hall. A wonderful place to work or play, but then again there's always the Kitchens if you know where to find them.

8 ⚘ YULE BALL: Time to put your best foot forward. That is, until the Weird Sister's start to play. Then, all bets are off. Maybe somebody even spiked the punch when Professor McGonagall wasn't looking.

9 ⚘ SNEAKING AROUND: The Restricted Section? Going to get a midnight snack from the kitchens? Or someplace else? ...Are you sure you should really be in here?

10 ⚘ WANDERING THE GROUNDS: Much like sneaking around, but without the threat of...

11 ⚘ DETENTION: Well, that's what you get for...whatever you did. This isn't going to be fun, you can be sure of that.

12 ⚘ HOGWARTS EXPRESS: Back to wizards and witches, and magical beasts, to goblins and ghosts and to magical feasts! All aboard the Hogwarts Express, want anything from the trolly dear?

13 ⚘ COMMON ROOM: Perhaps you and somebody in your house are just chilling... or maybe- have you been crafty enough to sneak somebody from another house in?

14 ⚘ ACCIO OPTION: Pick your own or make something else up!

[She shrugs and goes to sit in her chair, still chewing gum.]

[...There has better not be some sort of hex for late students.]

[Oh no, not at all. Waver's just waiting till the end of class, when everyone starts packing up and heading out.]

Pendragon. May I have a word?

[She turns to look at him.]

Can I ask you what might seem to be a very obvious and poorly thought out question?

Why? Do you wanna be stupider than a student?

Why did you decide to attend Hogwarts?

[penisenvy]

[She stares him him, blinks, and then falls silent, wondering how to answer him.]

[It's a long time before she answers.]

...For my father.

[She all but spits that word out like a curse.]

Your tone tells me that there's more to it than that.

[It isn't the first time that Waver's run into students with legacies to maintain and expectations thrust upon him. It's entirely possible that Mordred won't give him any more discussion than this, but it's at least some sort of indicator.]

There isn't.

[She growls, turning away from him.]

I did it for my father. That's all.

[It's not her fault her father wouldn't acknowledge her even with her at Hogwarts.]

Then that's all I wanted to know. Thank you, Mordred.

[The 'unless there's anything you like to add' is unsaid. With a reaction like that, Mordred will probably stomp out anyway.]

Whatever.

[She grumbles and slinks away, looking smaller and more vulnerable than she had ever been.]

[The posture doesn't go unnoted. Once Mordred's out the door, Waver slumps behind his desk. He's going to end up doing research on this, to see if there's any way to help, and he's 99% sure that it'll end up in getting an angrier Mordred.]

[Around Christmas break, Waver's actually found out what is with the Pendragon family. Well, to a certain extent, he got "Mordred's mother was a Death Eater" and that was about it. Nothing about Mordred's living situation, or status of Mordred's father, had turned up.

He's said nothing to Mordred about this, of course. There's no point, and it'd likely aggravate Mordred more. He's just hoping that Mordred will be on time to the final class before break begins. It' be a nice surprise.]

[Mordred only skulks into class when it's half over. She has bruised knuckles, a bloody nose, and eyes that seem to have gone red and puffy with crying. She doesn't say anything to anyone else. She just pulls out a chair and sits down quietly.]

[Waver's not surprised by Mordred's lateness, and while he pauses when Mordred walks in, he can roll with it for a few minutes. Time for everyone to break into groups for mini-discussions, while he walks over to her. Rather than tower over, he crouches so that they're on eye level, and makes sure to keep that eye contact.]

Can you come out into the hall with me, please, Mordred?

[She tries to glare at him, but it doesn't work well given the fact that she looks to be on the verge of tears.]

Make it quick.

[She snarls. Great, he's going to lecture her on getting blood on her fact again.]

[Waver holds the door open for her, and once they're both in the hallway proper, he closes it behind them.]

What happened? I realize occasional bleeding isn't uncommon with school work, but it looks like you were in a fight.

[There's no lecture tone in his voice though - it's genuine concern.]

[She opens her mouth to ask if he's going to take points off if she was, but pauses when she hears the note of genuine concern.]

Well...yeah. Assholes had it coming.

[Points really aren't important at the moment.]

Gonna go into more detail there? You might want to practice whatever you're going to say to the nurse, since the opportunity's presented itself.
