The Wizarding Meme
shamelessly ripped off and tweaked from here.

Inspired by the plurk meme last week or something, haven't you ever wanted to see how your CR would work in Ruby City? Well now your character was born and raised in the HP world. (And if you are a part of the HP cast then welcome home I suppose!)

⚘ RULES:
- Post with your character, the fandom, their house and if you want to, their year (or what their house was when they were a student, etc etc.)
- Character can be a Hogwarts Student, a visiting student for the Triwizard Tournament, or an adult of any sort! (If your character is "old" feel free to de age them, or have them be teachers. Or give options for both. ~~That's my plan~~)
- Roll between 1-14 at RNG, or don't!
- Reply to others.
- Profit.

1 ⚘ CLASS: You may pick the class, but really the class picks you. Passing notes? Eying up the teacher? In class whispering? Spells going wrong? Any thing goes!

2 ⚘ LIBRARY: SSSSHHHH! It's study time, but some just don't see it that way.

3 ⚘ HOGSMEADE: With all that hard work, it's time for a well deserved break. Go for a walk, drop by the Three Broomsticks, get some shopping done, or maybe take a peek into the Shrieking Shack, so long as something doesn't grab you.

4 ⚘ QUIDDITCH: For some people, the Quidditch pit is the place to be. Whether you're practicing, watching a game or just doing homework in the stands, this might just be the place for you.

5 ⚘ FORBIDDEN FOREST: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? IT'S FORBIDDEN. Be careful the spiders don't get you.

6 ⚘ DIAGON ALLEY: Whether near or far, this is where your fellow wizards and witches will gather. Making a day of it or just dropping in to get some chores done? Take a load off, maybe keep an eye out for your friends as they come out of Gringotts or sneak off into Knockturn Alley.

7 ⚘ MEAL TIME: Ah, the Great Hall. A wonderful place to work or play, but then again there's always the Kitchens if you know where to find them.

8 ⚘ YULE BALL: Time to put your best foot forward. That is, until the Weird Sister's start to play. Then, all bets are off. Maybe somebody even spiked the punch when Professor McGonagall wasn't looking.

9 ⚘ SNEAKING AROUND: The Restricted Section? Going to get a midnight snack from the kitchens? Or someplace else? ...Are you sure you should really be in here?

10 ⚘ WANDERING THE GROUNDS: Much like sneaking around, but without the threat of...

11 ⚘ DETENTION: Well, that's what you get for...whatever you did. This isn't going to be fun, you can be sure of that.

12 ⚘ HOGWARTS EXPRESS: Back to wizards and witches, and magical beasts, to goblins and ghosts and to magical feasts! All aboard the Hogwarts Express, want anything from the trolly dear?

13 ⚘ COMMON ROOM: Perhaps you and somebody in your house are just chilling... or maybe- have you been crafty enough to sneak somebody from another house in?

14 ⚘ ACCIO OPTION: Pick your own or make something else up!

Oh...uh...I already took a good look at them. Nothing good is out this year.

I'll take your word for it then.

Uh...I'll see you then.

[She dashes toward the exit...only for all the alarms to go off and a bunch of pixies to start mobbing her.]

[Waver sighs heavily as he watches the pixie mob, and proceeds to set his book stack down to go see if there's any way he can help diffuse the situation.]

[A chorus of "thief", "thief" arise from the pixies and the howlers that flutter to surround the young woman. The pixies, especially, try to pry her books away. A couple of them glare at Waver and hiss, as if trying to threaten him off from helping. Mordred's reaction doesn't help either, as she drops the books in favor of trying to punch the pixies.]

[Waver keeps his distance from the pixies - there's genuinely no point in trying to hurt them, he likes the bookstore and would like to not be banned for life from entering, but he does sigh heavily as Mordred tries to punch the pixies.

He lets out a little, disappointed sigh, as the shop keeper stomps over to deal with the shoplifter. It's impossible to miss the faces of other students peering in though, some laughing, others pointing, and one looking more than a little horrified.]

[As the shop keeper shoos away the pixies, Mordred jumps to her feet, dusts herself off, and glares at everyone else.]

The fuck are you looking at?

[And of course, there comes the lecture on shoplifting...]

...Maybe you shouldn't tempt people by sleeping on the job!

[Waver waits until Mordred's been politely, and pointedly asked to leave, and follows her out. His book stack can wait - he just wants to make sure that any reactions from her peers are minimal, or at least positive.]

[Well, her peers aren't angry at her, at least. Instead, they're pointing and laughing, and a few make sure to mock her about her boast. However, their insults are still limited to only her supposed sneaking skills and involve no personal details.]

[Mordred is steaming, but when she looks behind her shoulder to find Professor Velvet, she folds her arms and pouts. She looks up at Waver, as if pleading with him for the permission to get in a fight.]

[Waver's a little surprised by that look - he didn't realize that he had earned the position of an authority figure that could give her permission to swing a punch - but he returns it with the hope that pursed lips and a quirked eyebrow can accurately convey only if you think it's worth it, otherwise, brush it off.]

[After some deliberation, she decides it's not worth it. Instead, she goes and circles around, ducking behind Waver to stay out of the view of the crowd.]

[Waver lets her stay there, and proceeds to talk to no one in particular, in case Mordred's using him for cover.]

So was there a purpose to that, or--?

It was a dare.

[She only replies after the crowd starts dispersing.]

And you couldn't say no, because then you'd be a coward.

Of course. You guessed perfectly, Professor.

The situation is a bit obvious. Were those actual school books you needed, or random picks?

[She laughs nervously at this.]

They were...my actual textbooks.

[He shakes his head, half amused and half slightly disappointed.]

You're going to need a proxy to get them now, aren't you?

...Or a polyjuice potion.

[She looks up at him hopefully.]

--What courses are you taking.

Well, there's your potions class. And charms and transfiguration and DADA and all the stuff they make you take. Then there's Care of Magical Creatures and Study of Ancient Runes.

...And the ancient runes book might not even be in that shop because I sure as hell never found a copy.

Hang on, hang on, I think I need a list. Even I don't have the curriculum committed to memory--

If we can go and sit down somewhere, I'll write you a big list.

I have an idea.

[Ice cream shop? Ice cream shop. It may seem like rewarding bad behaviour, but Waver's of the opinion that it's a more relaxing atmosphere and encourages more trust from Mordred than any other location might.]

[Her eyes light up as she sees the ice cream shop. Her list is all but forgotten as she goes to haggle with the owner over how much an entire tub of ice cream would cost (and whether or not she can eat all of it). It's only until she's done convincing the owner that her appetite really is that big that she remembers Waver.]

So...uh...who's footing the bill here again?
