For the unaware, he is a dog collecting special consultant for the F.B.I. with an unfortunate gift of limitless empathy and, even more unfortunately, a lot of trauma and a brain inflammation that his psychiatrist is hiding from him. He's coming in from after 1x07, so he isn't quite as unstable as he one day will be, but he still suffers from hallucinations and extreme sleepwalking. Fun times for all.

I'm pretty sure that RC is the safest Will may ever be in comparison to his canon

YEAH, once he adjusts to the "magic is real" shock, RC is basically gonna be a big mildly unpleasant vacation from his miserable life. Especially if I ever canon update him to post-S1, ha...ha.....
