4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

[So far, he's satisfied that Serah is returning to her usual self. He has watched with Yeul in New Bodham and knows the life she's had there. Lightning has been her foundation and to strip that from her isn't his purpose. He takes a sip of his coffee that he often takes black with sugar and chocolate before he addresses the question.]

Last I knew, she resides in a flower shop with Fang. Events have molded anew a sense of reality that even I cannot change.

[He'll leave the details out for Lightning to explain. Without the ability to travel through time to correct the situation, it's all been done the hard way.]

If she is still there, you will be welcomed. If she is not, the ones that reside there can give you further information.

[She starts to quickly finish her coffee, ignoring the bitterness that comes at the bottom, not wanting to spend time around the person that nearly killed her sister. Even if he gives her the information she needs, she has no real reason to trust him.

After all, he did say Lightning was dead the last time they talked.]

Thank you. But, if you dare touch my sister ever again....I won't forgive you.

Anyway! [She claps her hands together as she hops off the wall.]

Your dear sister is around here somewhere. Fang too, grumpy as ever, and even the little Seeress and her stalwart overprotective guardian.

[ Well, her nonthreatening body language does help him ease up a bit there. Hesitant at first, Honori then decides to hold out the map he had been drawing. Currently, it's just a layout of the housing area with little notes about certain locations and about monster sightings being seen in those areas. ]

Sure... it's not a complete map, but its a personal one I'm still trying to update bit by bit whenever I have a chance. There is also the neighboring borders around the city... like the plains, the forests, and the like I haven't explored too deeply yet.

[She knows how unlikely it is, considering he wasn't in the first list, but....she misses him, too. Very much so.]

Oh, well, this is pretty detailed for not being complete.

[She's genuinely surprised, too. She gives back the map, knowing she really can't keep it because who knows when she'll see this boy again.]

Anywhere you suggest I go first?

I suppose so. I'm trying to piece together a complete map to where every location possible to visit is at least recorded for easier use. Hopefully I'll have enough time and resources to post something at the local library for everyone to reference on.

[He then pauses to think carefully on her question after taking the map back.]

I... think a good start would be going to the tave-- err, the coffee joint. It is where most people tend to gather for socializing, I've noticed. And the library would be the next safer bet. I'd muchly recommend finding any friends or family that may have arrived here with you. Having a familiar face with you would help getting used to things here. Other than that?

[He taps on the many vacant houses on the map before folding it away.]

Finding a place to stay is another priority that I'd recommend.

[He notices her haste but says nothing. It's pretty much obvious that he makes people uncomfortable and it's his lot in life that he's long since accepted and dealt with. He couldn't be an effective Guardian to every Yeul if he looked soft. It's just the opposite.

The words don't go ignored and he nods.]

My purpose is for Yeul. Your sister is of little concern to me other than her ally. This place is a paradox that cannot be changed.

[He finishes his coffee and stands up to give her a map.]

Off a train without a paddle or TARDIS in sight. Again. This was becoming a habit, and one Jack Harkness wasn't so sure he liked it. But it didn't really matter what he liked, did it? Blue eyes flicked about, taking in the sights as he pushed away from the step he didn't remember taking. Step by step...by step. Hands in the deep pockets of his trench-coat. At least he still had that, and his clothes. Not always a sure thing with his job. He casually looked around, a half smile firmly in place - wouldn't do to scare people away from wherever/whenever this place was right off the bat.

So. Who to walk up to first...seeing a likely candidate, he upped the intensity and warmth of the smile and strode over.

His head was somewhat spinning, though looking at him quietly sitting at a bar, sipping a beer, one wouldn't realize it. Unless they happened to know him already. He'd not been disarmed this time around, though Jack knew better than to make a show of checking the sidearm he had tucked under the trench-coat in it's shoulder holster. He knew it was there, and that was good enough. He didn't want to frighten away possible allies in this place.

Starting all over again. Again. How many times was it now? He'd lost count. The beer was decent at least, that wasn't always the case. And the atmosphere could have been far worse. He turned around on the stool and just set to people-watching, free arm resting on the bar and beer in hand, occasionally taking a sip.

[She takes it, uttering a thank you again, before going on her way. She'll follow the map to the best of her ability, and hoped she'd never have to take anything from him again.]

As for names, I can try... but I can't promise if they are here or not. Is there anyone in particular you are looking for?

[ Well... they do say that talented fighters can sense each other's presence somehow. Or at least can tell when one is nearby just by looking at a person. And with this monk? He was able to tell that this particular girl is... well... something, at least!

So after purchasing his own cup of coffee, Honori will approach the blonde girl and clear his throat to get her attention. ]

Ahem-- Ah, excuse me. Are you particularly busy at this moment? I was hoping if we could talk, if you are free that is.

There might not be a TARDIS in sight, no. But that doesn't mean that the TARDIS isn't around, and given that, it's perhaps no surprise that there's at least one Time Lord to match. Not one that Jack knows, perhaps, but he's at least a Doctor, and perhaps that is something that's at least better than no Doctor at all.

On the other hand, given that he can't entirely help from frowning a little at what he can tell about Jack's very unique relationship with time well... perhaps things aren't going to be the easiest. But he's willing to at least offer something like his help, even if he's pretty sure that nothing about this is how things are really supposed to be.

[KOS-MOS stops, head turning to look west and vision focusing on the figure on the clocktower. The condition of her isn't an enormous concern for her since she can't feel anything. It's more an inconvenience than anything since that means she can only fight with one arm if the need arises.

Once her eyes are on him though, as a background function, she scans him before she flicks open her watch for a reply.]

Is there are reason for your communique?

[KOS-MOS sets down the book she was examining before turning to face the other. He isn't anyone that she knows or has spoken with previously and not anyone recorded in her database.]

I am attempting to supplement my lack of data regarding this city and its occupants.

No TARDIS in sight? Well, don't despair, Jack, because just because the TARDIS might not be nearby, the next best thing is. The Doctor's been out walking around as usual, but little does he know that today is about to take a turn for the not usual.

He rounds the corner, hands shoved deep into his coat pockets, thinking about the possibility of going back to the river area for some quiet when he spots a very familiar person just ahead of him.

"Well, look at what the cat dragged in!" Though what cats have to do with Jack's appearance, he hasn't the foggiest idea, but it doesn't matter. It's just good to see him.

Oh, about that... I hope you didn't waste your time too much here, because there hasn't been any useful information in regards of this city or general location found in the library. Yet.

[He scratches the back of his head sheepishly as he says this, but it should be at least brought to her attention before she goes too deep, right?]

As for its occupants, I suppose asking for a census of the town may help you? Assuming if that is something you'd like to do, that is.

[Oh. That will have him frown greatly since he did want to be helpful to her, but all he could do is shake his head.]

No, I'm afraid I don't know any of those names. I'm sorry I cannot be of any more assistance.

And my name is Honori. It is a pleasure to meet with you Serah. [He was about to extend his gloved hand to her, but then pauses before pulling it away.] I do hope your friends will show up soon though.

[She extends her hand in exchange, even with him pulling his one hand back.]

[ That earns her a small smile, but still a hesitant hold for a handshake. But when he does grab her hand, an icy chill feeling will be coming through those gloves of his.]

Admirable in small doses, maybe. He does seem to go pretty overboard with it.

[Like sacrificing himself to save a city, but she doesn't add that bit.]

I can pretty much guarantee Lightning is not going to be angry at you, no matter how long you take to find her.
