God. Davesprite kind of feels like a blushing maiden around Eren a lot of the time these days, because he'd always quietly figured he was going to be the suave, chivalrous partner in any romantic relationship, and Eren just goes and says things like "you're cute" like it's the easiest thing in the world and Davesprite just flutters on the inside. On the other hand, it's actually really cool to be kissing friends with someone you can still call dude and bro, which isn't something he ever expected to have in a relationship. Eren has a way of getting under his guard in a way Davesprite needs. His personality type--that shounen honesty--isn't something that Davesprite's seen a lot in his snarky internet life, and it constantly surprises him. In a good way. It's heartening and makes him smile. He's also super fun to tease. Sorry not sorry, buddy.

He's still adjusting to the idea of dating Eren on top of being friends. He's never dated a dude before, and Eren doesn't quite get him the way Xion does because Eren doesn't share the same experiences they do.
