For a tiny bit of fun.

"In a support group, members provide each other with various types of help, usually nonprofessional and nonmaterial, for a particular shared, usually burdensome, characteristic. The help may take the form of providing and evaluating relevant information, relating personal experiences, listening to and accepting others' experiences, providing sympathetic understanding and establishing social networks. A support group may also work to inform the public or engage in advocacy."
And now you know. And knowing is half the battle.
Post with a character.
Unlike most memes, you'd probably be better off by providing a general theme for people to respond to. You know, have your subject or post read "People who got turned into animals in their respective games" or "Time travelers and keeping the space/time continuum intact."
Respond to other people and support them through their trials and tribulations.
NOTE: While you're welcome to post whatever the hell you want, if you delve into triggery whatnot (i.e. abuse, suicide, things which tend to actually evoke real life support groups and therapy) please label your posts with a nice and blatant warning so someone who was looking for Time Travelers Anonymous doesn't accidentally stumble into your suicide thread instead.
Fangirls won't stop arguing about my sexuality
Re: Fangirls won't stop arguing about my sexuality
CW: PAIRINGS
xCloud, xAngeal and/or xGenesis. All of it!
Puppetry xCloud aside, I have no desire whatsoever to physically invade with/be invaded in this way, It's Cloud. There are more creative ways to go about making his life the hell he deserves.
Not to mention how sexuality is furthest from my nature, never human/no chemistry needed for procreation. That doesn't mean to be used as an excuse for having (insert more sexually experienced character here) offer themselves up for the enable!! If I change my mind, later on I'm sure I'll figure it out!
[Not that he remembers much about Angeal and Genesis but is certain their 'friendship' simply didn't extend that far! What even is sexuality being raised within ShinRa, not to mention when did he have the time!.]

10 years and a dead virgin later, guess what? War! But not just any war, oh no. We're combating Nazi vampires. In London. In 1997. Why? We don't know.
Montana Maxa deranged Nazi major thought it would be a cool idea to orchestrate a war against her vampiric weapon of mass destruction. Millions of innocent civilians, papistsagents of the Vatican, Americans, expendabletroops, and mercenaries are to die in this war without purpose. But to top things off, Walter had been working as an informant to the Nazis because of a grudge against her vampire dating back to WWII. Because of this, it rendered the inexistence of said vampire -- of whom she is curently waiting for him to realize his own existence for the next 30 years. Can this woman's life get any worse?]
TW: Abandonment + spoilers for OUAT
But he loved his father too much to leave him like that, instead he told him about the bean and tried to convince him they could go have a better life elsewhere where his father wouldn't be known as a coward, cheat and a drunk. Letting his father convince him to go to a world the older man had dreamed of as a child they both left the Enchanted Forest to travel to Neverland.
Unfortunately due to the fact that his father was a grown man, he couldn't do anything he had been able to in the world as a child. But instead of listening to his boy that the only thing they needed was just each other, he let the shadow that inhabited Neverland take his boy away so that he could be reverted back to a young man again.
Thus the young boy found himself dragged back to the Enchanted Forest and dumped on the doorstep of the two spinner ladies who took him back in to raise. When his two surrogate mothers died, he was left alone in the world until he met his first wife Milah.
Milah, herself left him around eight or nine years later after giving birth to their son, Baelfire, because apparently she was bored with her life and wanted adventure, instead of being chained down in one place to a crippled coward.]

tw: implied psychological abuse?
Then tragedy happened. Miles' dad, Gregory Edgeworth, lost a trial against the famous Manfred Von Karma who was kind of an arsehole since he had a perfect record of getting everyone guilty. On the plus side, Greg managed to point out that one of the pieces of evidence that Von Karma presented was forged. So Von Karma got his first ever penalty, which he was pretty butthurt about.
After the trial, Miles, his dad and a court baliff called Yanni Yogi got into the elevator and an earthquake happened so they got stuck in said elevator. They got trapped there for five hours. Greg and Yogi lost their composure and began to fight. Suddenly, a pistol fell at Miles' feet and, panicking, Miles threw the gun. The trigger went off and Miles heard a scream before fainting. When the kid woke up, he discovered that his father was dead - shot in the heart.
The investigation on Greg's murder pointed to Yogi but, thanks to a fuckup in the trial regarding Yogi's corrupt defense attorney, Yogi was declared innocent 'due to insanity'. So little Miles developed a hatred for all defense attorneys - in fact, he somehow was given the opportunity to become the protege of Manfred Von Karma, the guy whom Miles' dad humiliated in court.
So Miles became Von Karma's student and adoptive son (although it was more of a teacher-student relationship) and became a ruthless prosecutor like his mentor, making every single defendant in his trials guilty. He likely used the fuckup in his father's murder to justify his actions (that, and he felt that it was impossible to tell if a defendant was guilty or not).
Miles did not remember exactly what happened when his father was killed. However, he did have constant nightmares about shooting his father in the elevator - or rather, picking up a gun, throwing it and hearing a man's scream. But he kept telling himself it was a nightmare.
Miles' perfect record was spotless until childhood friend/Disney personified Phoenix Wright came along and beat Miles in court - twice. Which Miles was pretty butthurt about because he never lost a case until then. Later, Miles himself got falsely accused of murder and Phoenix managed to persuade the guy to let him be the prosecutor's defense attorney.
Not only did Phoenix find the real culprit (Yanni Yogi) but he also managed to prove who Gregory Edgeworth's real murder was - Manfred Von Karma. Miles did fire a gun but it was actually Von Karma outside the elevator. Butthurt about his penalty and in pain from being shot, Von Karma kinda lost it. He picked up the gun that Miles had used before fainting and shot Gregory in the heart.
Later, he decided to take little Miles in and train him to be a ruthless prosecutor - only so he could fuck Miles up later by ordering Yogi to commit murder to frame Miles (to top it off Von Karma was the prosecutor in that trial) and to disgrace the kid further by getting him to confess his dad's murder. So yeah, such a kind adoptive father there.
On the plus side, Miles Edgeworth got character development sometime after the incident and now fights as a prosecutor to get the right criminal convicted and not to have a perfect win record. And he's a happier individual now because of that. So it didn't turn out that bad. :D]
