Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.

Directions:
  • Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
  • Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
  • If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
  • Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.

    Locations:

    1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

    2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

    3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

    4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

    5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

    6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

    7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

    Scenarios

    1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

    2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

    3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

    4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

    Have fun, guys!

[Hook wasn't the only one tempted to leave once realising he wasn't alone. But Baelfire wasn't going to give the pirate the satisfaction of knowing he'd gotten to him. If he was stuck here with him, then so be it. But that didn't mean he had to be nice or even civil.

He continued to take in the lay of the land. Where the buildings were, the park, etc. But really, he wasn't paying much attention to it. He felt like he wanted to say something but couldn't find the right words. No, he'd just stand here in awkward silence and try and focus on the scenery until the Captain left.]

[You could cut the tension between them with a butter knife. Eventually Killian couldn't take much more of the silence and he decided to just break it with, well, the first thing he could think of.]

It's... good to see you Bae.

[Despite the circumstances and everything between them he was happy to see the boy was alright. Though he suspected the other wouldn't think the same of him. He found a small solace in knowing the boy survived well enough, after all, he'd met Neal.]

    Are you well?
nealry: (And what do you think you'd ever say?)

[Bae spared him a single glance before looking back over the city.]

I was. Then I saw you.

[He wasn't going to spare the man's feelings. He hadn't his father's so why should he bother with the only other man he'd ever looked up. It hurt that they all turned into cowards eventually.]

[Those words cut him to the quick and he could feel a cold, twisting sensation in his chest like a knife being wrenched. He did his best not to show it, turning his eyes out over the city for a brief moment. Blue eyes tighten into a slight squint against the cool breeze at this height, drying his eyes and threatening tears. Certainly he could blame all of it on that if the pain of speaking with the boy got to be too much. It was fairly clear to him Baelfire wasn't going to pull punches here.

He swallowed once, twice, then dropped his gaze to his boots.
    ]

Has your life been that horrible since then? Did I truly condemn you when I let Pan's boys take you from my ship?

[He wanted to know the truth, what his actions had caused the other.]

[Bae's eyes continued to look out on the city before him while his mind wandered to what had happened to him since leaving the Jolly Roger. Horrible didn't even begin to describe it.]

You didn't let anyone take me. I left to get away from you.

[Those brows raise at that declaration and something darker fills up the emptiness left by the hurtful words.]

Oh, right. Is that how it is then?

[A small smirk curls up one side of his lips.]

And how'd that work out for you, living on Neverland with them and learning to survive? [He could guess, because he's well aware of what that island was like.]

Because it seems to me, until you found that drawing you were having yourself a right good time with me crew and I. You had it easy with us.
nealry: (And what do you think you'd understand?)

    It worked out fine.

[He didn't want to give Hook the satisfaction of knowing he was right.]

What about you, pirate? Still stuck in Neverland before this land claimed you?
    preferscaptain: (Distant)

[A nod, accepting that Baelfire seems to think his time in Neverland went 'fine', but something told him that wasn't the truth.]

No. I paid a steep price and was allowed to sail home.
