May Test Drive

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
this just in jason has stolen the family's confetti tree, christmas is ruined
[So generous.]
It's fine. As expected of the son of Batman, I have been investigating the situation in your absence and have been handling myself admirably. Thus far, I've established a base of operations and have made contact with several of the locals.
[It's amazing how he can phrase that as if he hasn't been getting into insane amounts of trouble.]
You'll be surprised to know that we are actually in something of a serious predicament, here.
you're a mean ooooone, mr todd
I'll say. This cape is dry clean only.
[Anyway, back to business. Did Damian just say he'd actually been behaving?-- Uh right, anyway. Arms dropped to the side, serious face on.]
How bad is it?
they say his heart shrank three sizes that day
"Untraceable inter-dimensional prison city occupied by persons abducted from all across space-time" bad.
It makes for strange company. Of note is a younger and slightly less abhorrent version of Todd, as well as the Riddler. Before he - well. You know.
[Swung hard back to supervillain. Betrayed Grayson's trust, plotting to throw him to the wolves. Killed his own daughter.]
The Red Hood, too. I don't know who he is, but he's not Todd.
[He has to ask.]
What's the last thing you recall, Grayson?
and then the true meaning of justice came through
Well when you put it like that, these are the nicest prison accommodations I've ever seen. But a Red Hood that isn't Jason? The only other person that was ever Red Hood was...
[Nah. No way. No way. Dealing with Riddler almost sounded like a cakewalk copared to this temporal mess.]
Um... [He rubbed his forehead in thought, a slight frown creasing his face.] Just a usual patrol night, really. I just got back from a JLA assignment, and you stayed in training... kind of quiet for a night in Gotham. Weird, I know. Jason sure wasn't any less Red Hood, that's for sure.
so heartwarming
For a burned-out shell of a city, however, the living conditions are decent enough aside from the newest horror of the week. Many of the locals, too, are friendly and make for powerful allies.
[A pleased smirk overtakes his face, and he adds, off-handedly, as if it isn't even a thing:]
I shall have to introduce you to King Arthur later.
[And Diarmuid. Of course, Diarmuid. And Lumina, Static, Mordred - he has made more than a few acquaintances during his stay, strange as it is to consider after how poorly his time with the Teen Titans turned out.]
Our timelines aren't that far off. A few weeks' difference at most.
[Grayson is here, real and in front of him, and that's all that matters. He flashes a confident grin up at his partner.]
It's a strange situation, but nothing that Batman and Robin can't handle, after all.
it's a holiday classic for a reason
Well, I'm sure we'll live without Saturday Morning toons for awhile.
[But nevertheless, he's grinning in return, a well of pride swelling in his chest and Damian's confident attitude becoming easily infectious. He stepped to stand beside his Robin and dropped a friendly hand on his shoulder.]
That's exactly what I like to hear. Let's make them regret dragging us into their mess.
