May Test Drive

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

I do with this anti-venom would actually do its job. [Her fingers close around her tea mug as she takes a moment.] I'm attempting to be social, but, honestly. They did say it might take awhile.
[Beta Niners, please. They says something won't hurt and then you swear you've a limb coming off. They say a venom will be neutralized quickly and it take hours. Sure, fine. She just might be taken to violence if she ever sees on again, but then, really. What's a few hours? She's six hundred. Plenty of time.
Tea. Sip the damned tea. And she does.]

[ There's a twitch at the edge of his lips. That's ... a sort of funny coincidence, if it means what he's sure it does. ]
What happened to you, then?

[She looks pensive and then grave.]
I'm not sure I actually made it out this time. Voidlings themselves have poison glands that inject venom that coats their claws. You get swiped or stabbed? [She shakes her head.] No anti-venom, you're dead in a few hours. It's not pretty.

Dying from poison. Wouldn't recommend it.

First time? First time being poisoned?

Yes, I do suppose, if it's an especially high fever or if I don't wake.

We Antedans have a particular sort of healing mechanism, where we essentially put ourselves in something of a hibernation as our bodies repair from more serious and potentially life threatening injuries. Our consciousness can be kept alive by usually another telepath or modestly telepathic being, by essentially letting the Antedan--
[She gestures with her cup, trying to find the right words.]
Nestle, perhaps, against the recipient's mind. Extra psychic energy is used for sustainment, not very much, until the healing process is finished.

[ In case he might end up needing to. It's unlike anything he's heard about, but he'd be willing to give it a go. ]

Especially since many aren't.

If only the universe was that kind. I've had to play diplomat to all sorts of folk who detested the fact that I'd been called in would rather just shoot either their mouths or their guns at me and mine. I'd vastly prefer peaceable relations to others, but... [She shrugs.] You make do.

[ He laces his fingers together, dropping his chin onto them. ]
You've travelled a lot, then?
