[Normally, Saber'd have rushed to help Diarmuid to his feet, but normally she's not expecting to see Diarmuid as a young lady as opposed to a young man. So she does have to stare for a moment, though her surprise fades quickly and she nods.

That explains the issue on the network.]

I suppose you won't have to; it seems you're not the only one.

[ He is tall. But not only is he tall, he is older.

His head still throbs from where he'd cracked it against one of the lower loft beams, a small clip of white medical tape pressed over his brow. He spends the better part of an hour adjusting to the changes; limbs, coltish and long, constantly overreaching to knock into things, the vertigo when he stands up and finds his perspective has sharply changed, and none of his clothes fit.

Damian helps himself to Grayson's wardrobe, the boy (ha, he thinks, boy) and he swapping clothes for the time being. Dick attempts, of course, to maintain some semblance of responsibility and maturity (even as Damian, smugly, smirks down at him and enjoys the lower rumble of his own voice as he quips about weather down there). Within the hour both of them have switched gear and are winging out of the house to make the rounds and ensure nobody has run into trouble in the wake of this event.

(Todd is absolutely screening their contact, and Damian is also determined to find and harass him because finally, the tables have turned.)

He's jumping between roof tops, adapting quickly to the new ins and outs of his body, when he spies a small boy perched on a chimney across the way; changing course, he's quick to cross the next gap, approaching the child.]

[The first hint that something is wrong might be the fact that Regulus Black walks into the pawn shop instead of apparating into it like the flashy wizard he is. The melodramatic door-banging is quite superfluous compared to that, really.]

He had been practising with Rumplestiltskin last night and when he had tried to heat up his morning cuppa earlier, there hadn't been so much of a fizzle of magic. It had to be all his fault. Clearly.]

[As I've been wanting to thread this out somewhere for a short while already. Sephiroth is around 7 y/o.

-Problem- he doesn't have memories that go that far back, so he's a rather hollowed out kid but has been swapped back to a point when loss was very fresh]

[You really can't. Big green, glowing eyes turn upwards to Jane, full of questions yet with a sadness that is bare for all to see. Set in a face that hasn't quite lost some of it's childish roundness, and shorter silver hair which falls back from either side of his face. It's gleam is broken up some though with a few, blacker strands close to the roots in his parting.]

What is wrong- miss?

[Flawless manners, in such a small voice.]

I'm not sure if I should be comforted by that or concerned.

[Diarmuid starts to cross his arms over his chest and pauses when they brush against the new 'additions' to his chest. He frowns and then lets his arms drop, crossing at his waist instead.]

It is just men who are being changed or are women being changed as well?

[Because if Saber herself has changed, he sure can't tell...]

[Diarmuid nods and finally leaves the room, carefully crossing to stand next to her. His clothes are way too big and there is only so much rolling and tying up one can do to adult clothing to make it fit.

Don't even ask about his normal armor. There is no way a child is wearing that.]

Is this a trick of the overseers? Is that it? What is the point of doing something like this?

[For all that Mordred is calmer, there seems to be more curious energy around Diarmuid now. At least they balance each other out?]

It would seem the effects have befallen most everyone in the city. There really is quite a commotion over it.

*Dante, there's a pair of glowing red eyes staring out at you from an alleyway, their owner apparently hiding behind a dumpster.*

[Yeah trying to sneak up on someone in a dark alley is never a good idea, dude. He doesn't even say anything, just pulls a gun and fires a warning shot near the dumpster.]

It's past curfew, shouldn't you be in bed?

*He scrambles away from the dumpster on all fours. He's the size and rough shape of a human, but his skin is dark purple, except for his goat-like legs covered in black fur and the black bat wings with a matching devil's tail. Each of his elbow has a spike sticking out of it and his large, almost childlike, eyes are glowing brightly and wide with fear. He growls something in some demonic language, but his voice is tense rather than angry.*
