Body Swap: Holy shit. You're looking at yourself like you're looking in a mirror. The only problem is, when you're looking down at your own hands... you're in someone else's body.

Gender Swap: Well, this is new; you're now no longer in the right body, but it's still yours. Were you always a girl? You sure weren't yesterday. Of course, this is probably another one of the city's tricks; no point in getting all up in arms about it, is there?

Age Swap: Are you starting to see a pattern here? Now you're younger-- or older-- than you were a little while ago. Who're you going to bug about your height now?

I'm not sure if I should be comforted by that or concerned.

[Diarmuid starts to cross his arms over his chest and pauses when they brush against the new 'additions' to his chest. He frowns and then lets his arms drop, crossing at his waist instead.]

It is just men who are being changed or are women being changed as well?

[Because if Saber herself has changed, he sure can't tell...]

[If Saber gets the implications Diarmuid has given in that question, she doesn't acknowledge them. You'll be left wondering for days, lancer.]

It would seem the effects have befallen most everyone in the city. There really is quite a commotion over it.

[Sighing, she shakes her head.]

That's the only issue you've encountered, I assume? No loss of power, or any other such thing?

[Actually, since she said most everyone in the city has been affected, Diarmuid will just assume that means her as well. Oops...]

It depends on how you define 'loss of powers.' As shown by that little fall and somewhat less than graceful recovery, my agility is not quite A+ at the moment. However, I blame that more on the fact that I don't know this body as well as I know my real one than I do on any power loss.

What about you? Have you or someone else noticed power loss? Is that why you ask?

Not so far, but I wouldn't put it past them.

[She does seem a bit amused, though.]

I didn't think a woman's body would throw you off so much, Lancer. I'd say it may even fit your title more than usual.

[She's ~~mostly~~ teasing.]

If this is all they've done, we might count ourselves lucky.

Why wouldn't a completely different form from the one I have always had throw me off? This one balances funny because of...

[He seems very flustered for a moment, before gesturing to his breasts.]

...these! How do women deal with them without going insane?

[Diarmuid pauses then as something she says strikes him.]

What do you mean this makes me fit one of my titles better? Just what title do you mean?

[Sorry, were they talking about serious matters? Not anymore...]

[Slowly putting her hands in her pockets, Saber simply stares.]

I haven't the slightest.

[Look at that remarkably flat chest, Diarmuid.]

[But then she smiles a little, shaking her head.]

'Of the radiant face?' I'd certainly say you've only improved.

[She can't help but let that smile widen into a grin. Come on, Diarmuid. She's not terribly funny, but she's at least trying to lighten the mood.]

'Haven't the slightest...' But...

[And then it hits Diarmuid what he just asked her and his face turns bright red. In fact, he is so embarrassed, he can't help but turn away from her. He's just checking something out on a nearby table. Yeah, that's it.]

Oh... Wait! What do you mean I am even more radiant now? I am a pretty radiant man, you know!

[Uh...Diarmuid...maybe you should just stop talking before you embarrass yourself even more...]

[Good job, Diarmid. Thoroughly amused, Saber raises a brow.]

And yet, as you must remember, I can only remark on what beauty you have beyond that mark of yours. If I think you a bit more radiant now, perhaps all it is is the suddenness of the change. It is a new image for you, after all.

[Diarmuid signs and turns back to her with a nod, face still slightly red with embarrassment.]

Perhaps, though I have to admit, I am not entirely comfortable with being even more radiant than before. Beauty has caused me nothing but trouble in the past. I wish to just be remembered as a loyal and honorable knight, not a beautiful face that is more trouble than it's worth.

I'd say there's no reason a knight cannot be remembered for beauty-- both in action and in looks.

[Saber crosses her arms, a much gentler smile on her face now.]

At least, that is how your stories were always told to me, Ua Duibnhe.

So I was remembered for both in your time?

[Tension seems to flow out of him.]

Perhaps, it was just during my time people focused on the beauty aspect to insult me...

[All those husbands and brothers and other family members of the women who fell for his curse, naturally.]

Indeed. None could forget the trouble it caused you, but I must say.. in my time, beauty was still something people strove for.

[It worked to Saber's advantage, in the end.]

And beauty itself was still treasured by the fairies. There is no shame to be had in radiance-- not in my time.

I would never speak of it to raise insult to you.

I know you would not. The people of your time did not hold the...dislike of me so many did back then. Even the great deeds I did for my lord and country were not enough to satisfy them. I suppose since those things did not help those struck by my curse, I should not be surprised, but...

[Diarmuid trails off and shakes his head.]

But this is not then and I am probably worrying more than I should about events of the past. So, is there any way that we can help those who have been changed or are we all just waiting to see when things change back to normal?

Mm.

[Since Diarmuid wants to change the subject, Saber won't press anymore.]

As far as I have seen, no one has found a means to reverse it-- which, as we've seen in the past, most likely means there is a time limit. I should hope we'll not need to assist anyone in any major way because of this...

[Saber's having trouble seeing how this could be so difficult to deal with, having dealt with something similar in her own time, but if Diarmuid's balance is off so easily ~~men are weak~~ there may be problems elsewhere as well.]

...Especially if anyone decides this is the chance to take advantage of another. [She suddenly seems very grave.]

[Excuse you, Saber. This is his first time having his gender swapped. It's just a little...odd. That doesn't make him weak.]

I would hope most in the city would not do such a thing, but you and I both know there are some who might do just that.

[Diarmuid frowns as he thinks about this.]

Though, I am not sure exactly how to prevent something like that. We could make some kind of Network post about it, but beyond that we cannot just follow people around to make sure no one tries anything with them...

We'll simply have to be diligent and prepared for any distress call over the network-- and advise people to carry their watches on them at all times.

...That, and at least locate where certain individuals are.

[She has no idea if Gilgamesh has been effected, okay. She's gotta make sure he don't do shit.]

That is a good plan. We should probably emphasize that people should not let being embarrassed about how they look now keep them for asking for help. Most of us have changed. No one is alone in this.

[Diarmuid brings a finger to his mouth and starts tapping at his lips as he thinks.]

I have a feeling we might be thinking about some of the same individuals. Care to share your list?

...And I'm not sure if our good friend Sephiroth would use it to his advantage or not, either.

The first person on my list as well. Sephiroth is also on there. He is such an unknown factor that I don't think he should be overlooked in anything.

Shall we get started? The less time we give them to get started on whatever trouble they might want to cause, the better.
