[Oh man dat lisp. You are reminding her so much of Sollux right now, dude. She points to the nearby bathtub, laughing softly. The presence of a mirror means they're in a bathroom, right? Sure.]

The bath tub. We could test your newfound water-breathing skills. And you're not slimy! Trust me, you would know if you were.

[YOU SHUT UP, sharp teeth are weird and NOT WORKING WITH HIS LIPS LIKE THEY SHOULD. It's less difficult than talking in his Titan form, at least. Which is impossible. Because no lips.]

Why don't you just call it that?

[he's glad he's not slimy because SLIME IS GROSS. He peeks at the bathtub. Oh what the hell. Might as well. He draws some water]

[he quirks a brow at her. Really? Anyway. Back to the water. Water is nice. He dangles his hand in it]

I injure you. If you heal up, then you're a Titan shifter. [a pause, then he quickly adds] B-but you can't injure yourself! Because that might trigger the transformation, and then this house will be a mess!

[0_0] That's... an understatement. I'd be bigger than the house. But - really? That's how it works, you have to hurt yourself?

Well, it depends. Some Titans are only 3 meters tall. [Eren turns the water off and hops in the tub and akdslhfkh it feels good. Way too good. This is not normal. He sinks down up to the gills, though he breathes through his nose because uh what] But yeah. You have to injure yourself with a goal in mind. Even stupid shit! Like "I need to pick up that spoon". I bite my hand, or cut myself with a blade.

[Heh, and here she was just expecting him to stick his head in. Have fun dripping all over the place when you get out of there.

Aradia holds one hand up, looking it over with some apprehension. It would be pretty easy to just bite her hand........ Dangerously easy even. Wow.]

... How hard do you have to do it? Does it have to draw blood?

[he is perfectly ok with that because water is great. Water is amazing. Water is the best thing ever. glub.

He's also not really paying much attention to Aradia, even if he probably should be. He's too busy trying to figure out how to switch from lungs to gills. It's tricky, like rubbing your head and patting your belly.

If he weren't so focused on that, he'd be much more concerned about Titans] Ideally, yeah, it needs to bleed.

Huh. [Curious, Aradia raises her hand ... extends her thumb ... goes to stick it in her mouth ............. then thinks better of it and wraps it in her other four fingers. Better wait on that (and/or not do it ever).

She puts her hands down and looks over to the ablution trap instead.] You doing okay in there?

I'm fine! [he sort of snapped that, oops. His temper's a little shorter. Which is very short now] Just figuring out how these work...!

[Well geez, somebody's a little snippy today.]

I am pretty sure you have to be underwater to breathe water. [... And now she has an idea. It is horrible and mean and she's totally gonna do it. She goes and bends over the trap, and plants her hands firmly on Eren's shoulders.] Like this!

[And without further ado, she shoves him fully under the surface.]

BWAGH!

[he flails and pushes against her because OH MY GOD DROWNING! SO DROWNING! Because you're trying to breathe the water with your lungs, you moron. He holds his breath and his gills kick in automatically. He no longer feels like he's drowning, so he stops flailing and blinks.

[Once he stops flailing, she stops holding him under and leans on the edge of the trap instead. It may be hard to hear her, since his ears are underwater, but it's pretty clear she's giggling anyway. THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE JUST THEN, MAN.]

[Once the look of wonder passes, he scowls at Aradia, folding his earfins back against his head. THAT WASN"T VERY NICE! He resurfaces and huffs]

Why did you do that?! That was scary!

Hahaha, I know, but the look on your face...

Tch... You've got a mean streak, you know that?

[Eren huffs and climbs out of the tub, finding a towel to wrap himself in so he doesn't drip all over everything. He doesn't really WANT to get out, but he doesn't want to be almost-drowned either!]

[She rolls her eyes playfully.] It's not like you were going to drown. You couldn't drown if you tried.

Can we try yours next? [Testing his powers that are probably now her powers, that is.]
