Directions

• Body Swap: Holy shit. You're looking at yourself like you're looking in a mirror. The only problem is, when you're looking down at your own hands... you're in someone else's body.


• Gender Swap: Well, this is new; you're now no longer in the right body, but it's still yours. Were you always a girl? You sure weren't yesterday. Of course, this is probably another one of the city's tricks; no point in getting all up in arms about it, is there?


• Age Swap: Are you starting to see a pattern here? Now you're younger-- or older-- than you were a little while ago. Who're you going to bug about your height now?


• Canon Swap: Your entire history is different now. Suddenly, you're a homestuck. Or maybe you're an elf. Or perhaps you're not even switching canons with the person you're threading with. What's the damage?


• Power Swap:...Like the one above, but with powers instead of canons.


• Moral Alignment Swap: Suddenly, you're evil as hell. Or maybe you're really good now. Or maybe your moral alignment is "eh /non-commital wiggly hand gesture". I don't make the rules here, bucko.

*He nods and wobbles back to his feet, spreading his arms out for balance.*

Right, that'd make things hell for us. Alright, so, think you can manage a bit more? Thinking about it, maybe you should practice while I go try to scrounge up something for you to wear. That coat's not gonna cut it.

*He nods, wobbling around in a loose circle.*

[He nods, then realizes that maybe that's not a great description so just bares his teeth at Alastor to give him an idea. Omnivore teeth, not herbivore. You can do it buddy.]

*He pokes his fangs a bit with his (still purple) tongue then focuses. Most of his teeth shrink and flatten, leaving just his canines sharp. A bit too sharp, but that can be blamed on the fact that he's basing them off of Dante's teeth.*

[Yeah, not much he can do about that, but he passes well enough that Alastor should too. So long as he doesn't go flashing the fangs around too much.]

Good, alright, work on that purple thing while I'm out. Shouldn't be longer than a couple hours at most, you gonna be alright by yourself?

[And with that he swooped out of the cave and off to 'acquire' some clothing for the kid. He couldn't get anything fancy, or well fitting, but that would probably work to their benefit anyway. Nothing to earn pity like a small child in ill-fitting, raggedy clothes right? It'll keep people from asking too many questions.]

*When Dante gets back, Alastor is trotting around the cave, trying to get the hang of moving on feet. It seems that at some point, he realized that it's possible to pick his heels up off the floor and run on the balls of his feet. Between the posture and the shortness of his outside toes, his feet almost look like they belong to some sort of bipedal dinosaur. He seems to be having fun, though.*
